Sai Ram,

Dear Sai Family ...

I have to say .. I am always so touched by the quick

responses in prayer to those in need and even myself

when I send out a prayer request. I think its really important

and wonderful that we support each other in this way as

one huge large family. This is definately something I know

that Swami wants... :)

Recently I sent out a prayer request because my husband

went to the hospital with chest pains... We thought initially

that he was having a heart attack. It turns out that his

Right lung had collapsed.

It has a been a long 48 hours .. he is doing much better

at the moment and has come home from the hospital

temporarily though needing to go back to the hospital today

for more Xrays and observations.

Miraculously he has not needed oxygen so therefore he

has not needed to be permanently admitted to the hospital

at the moment and we've been able to go back and forth.

This I attribute most definately to our beloved Sai and

all of your wonderful support and prayers.

Today we discuss whether or not they feel they will operate

on his lung or whether they will just keep monitoring him

this way and see if the lung heals itself in progression.

This is extremely painful for my husband but being the sole

supporter and man of the house .. he feels some comfort

in not being totally an invalid or hospitalized.

Through Swami's grace ( and yours :) ) his company has

been very kind about his sick leave for as of now we have

no idea how long this will take to recover. But he is doing...

very well .. remarkably well they tell me.

Interestingly though ... I often view Swami as my Mother ...

and when I write to him sometimes I call upon him as

Mata Sai. Many times I have written letters to a shrine

of Devi called Vaishno Devi who as the story goes ...

Laxmi, Saraswati and Kali all took the form as a girl

named Vaishno Devi who was an ardent devotee of Vishnu.

I write to this shrine often and have letters taken to the shrine. Well... on

thursday .. when I was exhausted and

feeling very alone . because my husband and I have

no other family than each other .. I was being very overwhelmed and depressed

with the idea of if I ever lost

my husband.

At my lowest point in the day and totally exhausted ...

I recieved from the pundits of Vaishno Devi .. an unexpected

gift!! ....

I recieved a beautiful altar cloth and some prasad from

the Vaishno Devi Shrine .. yesterday of all days.

I was overwhelmed with kindness and timliness of this

action .. that it would arrive here yesterday.

It quantified to me .. that Swami as my Mother is

always with me .. and he/she knows what we need...

when we need it and comes to us in forms close to

our hearts.

Thank you one and all.

Also .. I'd like to say ...

I'm over joyed with the talk of a weekly prayer group ...

please count me in and I think it quite honestly ..

a wonderful form of seva for us all and quite honestly ...

truly necessary right now for everyone... It would help

pull us all togeather as a family and facilitate our own

sadhana in the form of seva.

We are one family .. may we always treat each other

as such and may Swami continue to bless this wonderful

forum.

Sai Ram

Your sister in Sai always

Melody
