I am going through all the mails and the latest by Sister Meenakshi which she brought up like performing Gyatri mantra or MahaMritunjaya mantra with Beejaksaras. Now today is thursday should we wait for couple of days to get some more feedback or should we proceed - well I am giving my opinion visualizing Swami to think through me and they are as follows:- 1. We will do prayer once a week 2. Day I thought Sunday where we all can participate. 3. Time 7.00 AM in the morning 4.Chanting Gyatri Mantra Why ?(Reasons) 1. Every week because we might get urgent prayer request 2.Sunday might be convenient for everyone being off day. 3. 7.00 AM reason is for Sathwic timings (4.00am to 8.00 am), evenings people might be busy. 4.Gayatri mantra being the universal mantra and most powerful mantra. Now the prayer I thought - starting with Ganesh Mantra 3 times Dhanvantri Mantra- 3 times Gyatri mantra 28 times or 108 times. Now this is what I thought- as Swami says gather all opinions and then very meticulously execute the plan. Another spiritual group I am affiliated with is getting ready to start a Mass Consciousness Meditation. Now Swami has inspired this World-Wide Sai Prayer group around the same time. this is absolutely HEAVENLY! Please provide the exact prayers and exact format. I will inform other Sai family. Sunday at 7:00am (India time) is fine for Sydney because it is 11:00am here. I actually attend a Sai Group centre that meets 8:00am to 10:30am so it would be perfect. However, I don't know if it would suit other countries. Maybe Sister Sonja could give an idea of when her Mass Consciousness Meditation group has scheduled its 'meeting'? On the other hand, if nobody says it doesn't suit them then we should understand that they are giving their tacit approval. Why don't we chant "Thrayambakam yajamahe sukanthim pushtivarthanam". This is Maha Mrithunjaya manthram. In our Sai centre we have healing prayer once in a month. We chant this manthram 3 times. Why not take the solution of 7.00 (or whatever will be decided) in each country like we do for Akanda Bhajans ? This way we will have a continuous praying going on ? It has been suggested by some brother already and it sounds like the better solution. We may end with Loka Samastha 3 times and also if someone wants to additionally do something like Nama Ligitha Japa let them do so (writing Om Sri Sai Ram ).
