The first thursday of every month can be a common prayer day where all of us can pray to almighty bhagwan for the welfare of the needy. Like yourself, whenever I read the requests for prayers, I also feel touched. I've seen the saibaba webmaster email this group with a variety of different replies to requested prayers in one mail. I think if we could execute your suggestion in such a way, then it would work. Also Swami says to pray for the rest of the world as opposed to yourself. This is definately the path to selfless devotion! We will definitely pray for all those devotees who are in distress. Infact we chant MAHAMRITYUNJAY MANTRA for the sick brothers and sisters in our weekly samithy bhajans and in one particular case of a Sai youth he recovered 100% with prayers of all our samithy members. The doctor had lost the hope on the youth as he was suffering from brain fever in 1999. Doctors had commented only GOD's grace could save the boy and 70% negative chance of survival was predicted by the attending Doctors. Let us choose a time in the region we live.Say, morning 6:00 am at local time let all the devotees at that time, pray to Sai mother for the prayer request of that day. I f all of us pray there will be soothing responce from the Lord. If we can have a prayer request portal in sai news group, it is possible to consolidate all the request in one place and pray. Let us give a thought about this. Sai priyudu Partha Always be happy. Whatever happens is for good. Guest guest
Aum Sai Ram, Brothers and Sisters Group prayers are very powerful, so if we are able to get people from many countries can you imagine the strength of our prayers! However, there is the complication of different world times, so a time that would be convenient for you might catch other people at the office, etc. So I think the first requirement for a "worldwide" weekly prayer session would have to be that it be done on a weekend, when most of the employees don't have to go to work as there will definitely be conflict with timezones. Then, as a second step I would suggest everybody tells from what country they are in, and this way we can have an idea of how many countries we have to consider. For example, I am in Sydney, Australia and I know one other person in this city who belongs to this group. When it is 8:30am in Sydney it is 4:30am in Mumbai and New Delhi (and I think in Puttaparthi too..?). (I checked the web and here is a link http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ to check other times but you may have another website you like better). Your thoughts and suggestions, please! Guest guest
group prayers are always good. i will write my experience. once I had a tremondous urge for conducting LAKSHARCHANAThen I requested my bhajan groups and friends and did LAKSHARCHANA on one sunday. It went of very well. 45 people came and my house was a small house. still every body sat peacefully. after the puja every body had prasadam( rice varieties ) and went. Exactly after one week I was hit by a criket ball in my right eye just outside my sister's place. Immediately I ran to her house and washed my eyes and she gave me homeopath medicines. I came back home walking, my eye was paining and it was blood red as if it was bleeding. Because of SWAMY'S GRACE within two days the redness had gone but nerves were paining. My brother gave me homeopath medicines for reducing the pain. Slowly I got relief. YOU KNOW WHY I AM WRITING THIS BECAUSE I DID THAT LAKSHARCHANA WITH A GROUP OF SINCERE DEVOTEES, I DID NOT LOOSE MY RIGHT EYE. SWAMY REMOVED MY KARMA BY MAKING ME DO THAT PUJA ONE WEEK BEFORE. OUR SICERE PRAYER ALWAYS HEARD BY SWAMY. WHEN YOU PRAY EVERYDAY, YOU NEED NOT PRAY SEPARATELY BECAUSE SWAMY TAKES IT AS HIS DUTY TO TAKE CARE OF US. JUST DO NAMASMARAN. THINK OF HIM WHEREVER YOU ARE. DONT ASK ANYTHING. HE KNOWS WHAT TO GIVE, WHEN TO GIVE AND HOW TO GIVE.( IT IS VERY DIFFICULT ) WE WILL ALL DO GROUP PRAYERS ON EVERY SUNDAY MORNING " IST" 8.30AM FOR THE WELFARE OF THE WORLD. IS IT OK FOR OTHERS? SAIRAM

Guest guest
Sairam: When some request a prayer simply sit in front of Swami picture and Just talk to him to heal the person requesting prayer and the person wh needs prayer. It is simple task. Why add all manthra and rituals. God will understand a request from a pure heart. He is not bother about the language of the prayer. Choose a time convienent to all in your area, do not bother about word wide time. Small drops makes a ocean. Sairam to all. Saipriyudu. Partha Always be happy. Whatever happens is for good. Help one person every day so you can go one step near God.
