Assam was the place which Prof Kasturi in good old days (when travel and communication were luxuries) discovered to his pleasant suprise the enthusiastic chanting of Sai Ram by the persons who were in charge of cleaning the place - Prof Kasturi was (as per his own account ) overjoyed on seeing Sai effect reverberate in the rather unexpected place from unexpected quarters.
