Guest guest
Sairam Sisters and Brothers, We continue to listen from Ashoke Maitra, Director (Corporate) Human Resources, Bennett, Coleman & Co., Ltd (Times of India Group), Mumbai, India. --- "Our regular worldly education process does not allow you to see your Divinity. Its goal is to cram lots of knowledge into you. I wanted to go and do my Ph.D. in one of the top American Business schools. They told me that I would have to take the GRE exam. So I wrote to them and told them I am not interested in their school. They wrote back and asked why. I replied saying, "After 20 years of experience, after being a top rated HRD person, after showing you the publications and work that I have done, if you tell me you are going to evaluate me on the basis of a GRE, there is something substantially wrong with your system and I do not want to be part of a system which is so insensitive." They said no; this is our requirement. Since I have the freedom to agree or disagree I did not go to their school. To me, this kind of system has lost consciousness." © Global Dharma Center 2004 http://www.globaldharma.org
