Give it to Swami and let Swami be the doer responsible for the direction the

group takes? As you gather together, joined in your love for Him, I am sure

that He will guide you all.

You can not make even a small insect move without his will. No one can even

follow Swami's teachings unless he wills that they change their attitudes and

understand his teachings to have life application.

From my personal experience in many settings, I am able to say these with

confidence. If one lives by example of self less seva, if Swami's will does not

exist there, people will attribute conceit, deceipt and wrong doing to the most

humble servant of the Lord. They become the images of CHRIST in crucifying

their image. People with true deceipt and hypocricy will fare high in the

society, as they would get away with falsehood in the society through budddy

systems. All is his will!!!

The integrity of a true devotee's character should prevent the person from

deviating from TRUTH, and DICPLINES of a RIGHTEOUS LIFE application of Swami's

teachings. It is better to have a handful of true followers who will make

conscienable decisions and stick together than have a bunch of non followers of

Swami. It is an Individual seeking.

Therefore my sai brother, your role is to ignore what others might do and say,

but enforce the disciplines of Swami's teachings in your group. If others do

not like that, they will go elsewhere. This discipline should be in thought,

word and deed. A very simple example is the modesty of females covering their

chest with a Poncho or a shawl in the congregation. Even among the Indians we

see that they come with jeans and a T-shirt to the center. If you bring a

shawl or a chunni to cover them they get offended and will not come back or

complain to others about how bad the person is or was. They complain if one

enforces not talking after bhajans to maintain the energy levels in the hall.

These people do even talk and scheme against other persons and try to plot a

character assasination on purpose against the person through falsehood because

that is what they think and believe in. If all of us who call ourselves as

devotees do everything as per the teachings

of our dearest Swami, he will not hurt himself repeatedly. So, this is the last

limb of his life's mission, through his suffering in the physical body, he is

teaching us to go within and follow his teachings at an individual level.

I think we should all at individual level try to offer this body that sustains

Swami as an offering for his birthday and seek his guidance to be used in the

mission for which he incarnated.

He knows how to string the garland himself!!!

I know that Swami is waiting for the handful of devotees who will follow his

teachings to the core and he knows every individual heart. No hiding from Swami

even in the feelings. He KNOWS EVERYTHING!!!

 

I am sorry if I went beyond the simple answer of saying please let Swami take

care of things, but I wanted to share my agony and my concepts of why and how

Swami is very clearly showin g to the world about letting go of controls, power

and conceipt but to open the hearts, accept and evolve at an individual level.

To my limited knowledge and limited experience with Swami, I with a strong

conviction and clarity suggest the following which in my opinion will definately

fetch you and your group the divine Swami.

 

1) Have TRIKARANA SHUDDI under all circumstances i.e. let there be a harmony

of thought word and deed. It is not very easy but what your conscience says

think only that, speak only that and act only according to it.

 

2) In Sri Shirdi Sai Satcharitra disciples are categorised into three they are:

 

a) Those without the master telling them do what they feel will please the guru.

b) Those who simply follow what ever the guru has told them to do explicitly.

c) Those who keep pending things asked by the guru to practice.

When I was a student in SSSIHL, I used to do that and Swami in a family

interview told my mother that this fellow (me) is staying here with trikarana shuddi.

Dear friend believe me Swami used to talk to me everyday and those days sometimes

I used to feel even bored of what Swami used to say to me.

 

Swami used to come to me and say I have seen your father in law sitting in darshan or

he would say go get married or he may say such things which had no practical relavance

as I was a student and obviously not married then.

My humble suggestion is that have trikarana shuddi and always before

contemplating anything or speak out anything or act on anything just ask

yourself will Swami like this that is it.

 

The greatest achievement in life in my opinion is to achieve Swami and

I wish you All the best.

Thank you so much-trikana suddhi is the secret to get Swami.

This is really great you have cleared the picture with your practical experience.

 

Yes I want to achieve Swami that is my goal.

 

So overall we have to follow Swami whatever He says,we can't postpone His teachings.

Permit me share my thoughts and my where abouts with all other brothers and

sisters of our forum also.

 

I am still in Mumbai. I had been on tour to Guwahati during April 22 to 27, 2005.

My relieving date is extended by a couple of days. I am proposing to leave Mumbai

for Guwahati on May 23, 2005 but there is one more bottle neck. I am yet to receive

the school leaving certificate from Central School, Malad, Mumbai and I am told that

the Principal is on leave and I can get it only after May 26, 2005. I am going to the

school today and let us see what happens.

 

I belong to the first batch of MBA in SSSIHL i.e. 1986-1988 batch. I do not know to

which batch your friends belong to. Also, I have been in Mumbai since August 25, 2003

only. Prior to that for about 11 years I have been in Anand, Gujarat so I am not very much

touch in with the old students in Mumbai.

 

Everything is a time bound project in life. Swami is going to be in this

physical frame (body) for another 16 years only. What ever has to be done or

achieved should be done only during this period only afterwards however we

lament nothing is going to happen.

 

What guarantee is there that our next life will be a human birth only (ofcourse

we are not very bad that we go back to the animal life). Even if we get a human

birth what is the guarantee that we will come to the next incarnation i.e. Prema

Sai in Karnataka. If we come also, at what stage of our life then.

 

In any case it is stupidity to postpone our spiritual endeavours for our next birth.

 

Let us make the best use of this avatar and follow him 100%. Nothing is impossible.

 

I again reiterate, my secret of sucess with Swami was definately to have

Trikarana Shuddi which I know pretty well, I am not having now to the extent I

had when I was a student..

 

Also, one more important condition to acquire Swami. Be daring (in otherwords

complete faith in Swami) which I still relish. I care a hang to any

circumstance as long as Swami is with me. Ofcourse as I mentioned above, I am

not having total trikarana shuddi now so I got scared when I am transferred to

Guwahati.

 

But still I suggest, Do not get scared or become coward under any

circumstances. No power on this earth can harm you if you are following Swami

to the complete satisfaction of your conscience.

 

One important thing you may feel that I am a hypocratic because I got scared on

getting transferred to Guwahati but advising you not get scared. I am not

hypocratic. My intension

is that although we are unable to reach a particular standard it does not mean

that we should eliminate the standard itself and make our own convenient

standards that is wrong. But strive more and more to reach that standard set

by Swami (taught by my professor in SSSIHL).

 

If by chance any harm has been done to you then take it for granted that it has

the approval of Swami and with his full consent that has happened to you. Do

not think when I am saying you it is me in the first place and in general it is

for anybody.

You asked me to share some experience. There are plenty but I will narrate one or two.

 

It was August 21, 1986, the day MBA programme was inauguarated and we the first

batch students were sitting for the evening darshan. Swami came to one boy and

the following conversation took place:

 

Swami: Are you Happy

 

Boy: Very Happy Swami

 

Swami: What makes you Happy

 

Boy: Swami I got seat in MBA (SSSIHL:)

 

Swami: You did not get it it is Swami's gift.

 

What a revealation. Anything is Swami's gift good or bad as Swami puts it it is

the Prasadam of Swami.

 

One more incident relating to the same that happened in Kodaikanal in 1987.

 

Swami was pulling the leg of each of our class mates saying you got only this

many marks (only 1 digit mark out of 100 for everybody but the figure varied

from student to student) but I gave you admission in MBA.

 

One boy then asked Swami (very interesting)

 

Boy: Swami do boys get admission in Swami's institution by Merit or grace?

 

Swami: Merit is also grace Sir.

 

Again what a revealation we feel many a times that it is out of our sheer

intellect or hardwork we could achieve something Definately wrong. Merit is

also grace Sir.

 

For the time being I take leave.

 

I only wish and prayer to you is that "Get Swami at all costs".

I had a couple of friends who studied at the same Institute namely Shyam Sunder

Doraiswami and Kartik Doraiswami. They were from Mumbai.
