Sai Baba Pooja Samiti, a south-Mumbai based organisation, opened free

tailoring classes at Padma Nagar in Borivli (W) for students who cannot afford

to pay the fees at tailoring institutes.

Sridhar Shetty of Jairaj Builders who is also the managing trustee of the

Mahisha Mardhini Temple Samiti, Borivli, inaugurated the classes on March 25.

The Samiti has carried out various social welfare projects like providing

free uniforms, school bags and scholarships to students, medical aid to

patients suffering from cancer.

Shetty donated a sewing machine for the class on behalf of the Mahisha

Mardhini Temple Samiti. RD Shenava, treasurer, BM Shetty, assistant treasurer

and RM Shetty, joint secretary, were among the Samiti members present at the

event.
