Spiritual messages of Sai Baba highlighted By A Staff ReporterKathmandu, Apr.

17: Shree Sathya Sai Centre Kalikasthan today ogranized a daylong parental

workshop and prize distribution function to highlight the spiritual messages of

Shree Sathya Sai Baba regarding the raising of children and the importance of

spiritual education to them. Chairperson of the regional coordination committee

of Shree Sathya Sai Organisation Saraswati Maskey presented awards to the

winning children in the categories of essay writing competition, elocution

competition, quiz contest and sports, among others. On the occasion,

coordinator of “Child Development Education (CDE)”, a department under the Sai

Centre aimed at devoting for the overall development of the children, Divya

Dhakal explained the significance of spiritual education for maintaining

discipline in the children. Parents who were present on the occasion expressed

satisfaction over the educational activities of the Sai Centre and said the

children of this age who were exposed more in western culture needed some

spiritual guidelines as well. Bishnu Prasad Neupane, president of Shree Sathya

Sai Centre Kalikasthan, delivered the welcome speech in which some 200 children

of the CDE along with their parents were present.
