Myself is Jitender Verma,working as an audiologist / speech

pathologist at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and

Research, Chandigarh.Following are some of my experiences of the

Divinity of Bhagavan out of many.

 

I got married on November 12, 2003. My wife Rashmi is a religious

person. After marriage, we went to Ooty, Kodaicanal. As we had

relatives in Bangalore, we stopped there on our return journey.

 

When our return to Chandigarh got delayed by 3-4 days, our relatives

at Bangalore suggested to us to have Darshan of Baba at Puttaparthi

(they are not devotees). We came to Prasanthi Nilayam on December

30, 2003. Enroute, we had uncomfortable journey. We got

accommodation at Prasanthi Nilayam easily. We had Baba's Darshan the

next morning. It had a miraculous effect on my wife and me. Both of

us felt attracted to Him. We stayed on for a few days there and

returned on January 6, 2004.

 

I was constantly thinking of Baba after we came back. One night,

when I was dozing, someone called me 'hey son', only I heard the

voice. I got up and came into the lobby and, lo, Baba was everywhere

in our home wherever I could see. I had not heard Baba's voice

before, but when I heard Him on Sanskaar TV, I was sure it was His

voice, which had called me that night.

 

Second time, we were at our relatives' place for jagaran, when Baba

came in physical form and encouraged me to play the role of Lord

Shiva and my wife the role of Parvathi. As I was hesitant, Baba told

me, 'I am Shiva and Shakthi, do play the part'.

 

Third time, it was in the afternoon, I was half asleep, when I heard

our doorbell. I got up and peeped through window to see. There was a

beautiful red car parked before our house; it was splendid with

brass railings and the rear seat was like king's throne. I had never

seen the car before. When I opened the main door, there was nothing

on the road. I got to sleep again. Baba came in the same car in my

dream and told me 'I have come to take you to Parthi, come with Me'.

I was shocked to see the same car (golf-cart in which Baba comes

nowadays) in photos of Shivarathri on the Internet with Baba sitting

on rear seat majestically.

 

By this time, my wife and I decided to go to Parthi. We were going

through a lean patch. But Baba arranged money and we came to

Prasanthi Nilayam on November 18 and stayed till December 1, 2004.

During our visit, we two decided to live at Prasanthi Nilayam for

the rest of our lives. We both wrote separate letters to Baba saying

our prayers. Baba did not take our letters. But I posted the same.

To my surprise, when we reached home, I received an interview call

from the General Hospital, Prasanthi Nilayam through mail from Dr. N

M Alreja (In-charge of the General Hospital) on December 1. I was

back in Prasanthi Nilayam on December 14.

 

On this visit, when I came for the interview, Baba sent word that I

am young and should remain with my family and that He will call me

at a later stage. I was disappointed. But I felt happy that He had

given me a prompt reply to my letter, which I had posted at

Prasanthi Nilayam earlier.

 

After returning to my place, Swami appeared in my dream and said, 'I

will call you to Prasanthi in 2014' (I did not catch the year

exactly mentioned by Swami. I presume He mentioned 2014).

 

Strange are the ways of Baba.
