CHENNAI: Technology developer MatrixView Ltd today said its patent-pending 'Echoview' technology, used for capture of echocardiograms and ultrasound images of the heart, has been successfully implemented at the Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sci ence, Bangalore. "The successful implementation of Echoview at Sathya Sai Institute signifies the start of commercial deployment of the technology to hospitals and licensing opportunities to ultrasound equipment vendors in India," said Mr Ravi Govindan, executive chairma n and managing director, MatrixView. He said the Echoview solution would save significant cost and time for both doctors and patients. "Echoview converts analog echocardiogram signals into digitised data, which can be stored in the hospital's centralised server or into any generic storage mediums such as hard disk drivers, DVD jukeboxes or tape drives," Mr Govindan said in a release her e.
