Guest guest
Oh man, do you know what brought you to today? How many births have granted this one human birth? How many ages of efforts have culminated in this one chance? Do you remember how many ages have you spent without this life force? Do you have a clue how you existed without a thought or a feeling? Without a faculty to speak or to sing? Without a way to remember or to be remembered? To greet or to be greeted? To love or to be loved? Squatting in the mud, sprawling in the dust, Senses being the beginning, the journey and the end of you… Eating, sleeping and mating…what else did you know? Whiling away your life in the physical planes, with no access to the higher arena… When you could not speak, how could you sing? When you could not hear, how could you bathe in music? When you could not see, how could you perceive the beauty? When you could not touch, how could you caress? When you could not think, how could you float in bliss? Nonetheless, at the end, you were judged on what has been given to you… And probably after millions of those verdicts, you are here now… Literally millions of them or may be more… And now, Oh man, that you could see…. See the form of the Formless, Who Formed Himself and came for you, just for you… See, here is He, there is He, everywhere is He, In you, In me and in every inch of this cosmos… And now, Oh man, that you could hear… Hear the Voice from which sweetness derived its meaning, Hear Him in the songs of these cuckoos, in the gurgles of those rivers, in the echoes of the mountains, in the infinite silences…. And now, Oh man, that you could speak! Chant the Name of the One from Whom you came, Utter the Name of the One to Whom you reach, Sing the glory of the One in Whom you dwell! Say Ram, Say Shyaam, Sing, Allah, Jesus, Sathya Sai Naam! And now, Oh man, that you could walk, wake and shake, Come on, walk the road of sacrifice, tread the path of service… These hands have to drop someday, Let them drop while wiping off the tears of the distressed… These legs have to collapse one day, Let them collapse while running on the lanes of the poor, the diseased... This body has to wither off some time, Let it wither while you cheer up the helpless, light up the hopeless… Tyaagenaike amritatvam aanasuh… Oh Pardha, May you recognize that you are NOW in this stage, for which you strived from times unknown, The worth of THIS VERY moment, the value of this very breath, May you realize that THIS could be the end of all the battles you fought through countless births and deaths, if only you wish, if only you WILL, May you FEEL NOW, the CONSCIOUSNESS, the BLISS, the TRUTH that you ARE! Be all and end all! JAI SAIRAM

Guest guest
======= This is what great poet & saint Tulasi Das has said in one of his poem : "Barhe bhaagy maanush tan paava, Sur- durlabh sad grantham gaava." ****************************************** (It is because of great fortune,I am granted this human body."Human birth is rarest", this is what sung & described by holy books.) So, the (Human birth) life is rare, precious, meaningful and very valuable which is rightly said in the following lines:----------- "Life is real, life is earnest, The grave is not its goal. The dust though are, The dust returnest, Was never spoken of the soul." ********************************** With Sai Love, S.L.Gupta 31-3-2005 ========
