Guest guest Posted March 22, 2005 Report Share Posted March 22, 2005 An experience of an African devotee at Bhagawan's darshan: The first time I came to see Baba, I wasn't into devotional thinking at all...I remember Baba coming out...and the only thing that I wanted from Him was..........I wanted Him to look into my eyes...I wanted to make eye contact with Him. And here I am sitting with hundreds and hundreds of people...............He came over to where I was sitting and just looked INTO my eyes... At that moment I knew He was, who He said He was...I knew it from my heart... I go to Darshan, there is this "charging" that goes on, there is a cleansing that goes on, there is an upliftment that happens...that's just beyond words...We often refer to it as coming here to get battery re-charged...and that's what happens at Darshan.... Pardha: I totally identify my own experience with the last 3 statements.... I was more and more strengthened after each Darshan, Growing more and more conscious, Getting rid of deficiencies one-by-one.
