Doubt of Sister Sangeeta

Dear Sister Sangeeta,

 

As you already mentioned that even a leaf can not move without the will of

God, and that is the Absolute Truth. The will of God is all pervading and

omnipresent. It is Baba's will always wins and plays all games. He is the

origin of light as well as darkness. So whenever anyone is confused and

could not see the light, definitely there is a cloud of Maya overcastting on

that mind. The cloud is because of the karma and previous actions. Whenever

there is a Samudra Manthan (charning of ocean of your mind) there is amrit

(nactor) as well as poison. Similarly when we churn our mind to fill all

good thoughts of Baba and remove all bad thoughts accumulated because of our

previous karmas (actions), there always foams are formed with contact of the

detergents. Initially those foams are looked to be clean and after some

stirring those foams carried all dusts and looks ugly. Then again you spring

some clean water and after few times of washing everything becomes clean

including the foam and foams are washed away. So you need to supply

detergent and clean water constantly to keep you clean until those diry

foams are visible. That's why Baba said that you need to fill 2 stomachs.

One is for your physical health that is your Body and another is also for

mental Health, that is your soul. The grace of god only follows if any one

at least make some initial effort to clean his dirty mind, just like the

constant source of clean water or detergent while washing your cloths you go

to the source of it. As Baba said their should be balance of foods whatever

you eat. Like you need protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins , minerals etc

to keep your physical heath in good condition. If you don't take

proportionately, there is an imbalance in your physical health so you need a

doctor to tell you what food you need to consume based on your symptoms.

Similarly Baba, becoming our supreme father and spiritual Guru, prescribes

us different spiritual food to keep our good spiritual health.

 

Now imagine that you went to a doctor, who have only one medicine that is

God which can fill your spiritual stomach and you need not to eat anything.

But before eating that food, you need to prepare your stomach into that

condition where by taking one kind of food it can extract all ingredients of

your spiritual body whatever it needed. So to come to this stage you need to

do sadhana (spiritual practices) as prescribed by Baba.

 

But the most difficulties in this new modern age is that man are too busy to

survive and have little time to practice all spiritual rules prescribed by

their instructors. So we need a solution for this. Their should be few

simplified guidelines that automatically can fill your spiritual stomach

with necessary foods. This simplified method is called devotion, chanting

the name of god constantly in your mind and doing prayer or listening glory

of god such that you can supply constantly the clean water to your mind to

wash away all those accumulated dirts. Once you are firmed and no more your

mind troubles you with bad thoughts than you can focus to help other with a

strong faith and self confidence with your experiences. Then you can engage

yourself to the service of God by serving other persons nearer to you.

 

That's why Baba says do first and then ask other to do. If you can not set

your own example then how can you ask other to do it? If you can not make

your mind free from dirt, how you can clean other's mind? That's why Baba

said, instead of waiting for god to send His grace because of your little

effort, better you jump into the ocean where their is abundant of supply of

waters and detergents are preserved in the form of His supreme love. Jumping

means throwing yourself to that ocean of cleanliness. So it is better to

give yourself to god by surrendering yourself rather than begging his grace

like a beggar. This is the second stage of devotion when you will be ready

to jump into this ocean of grace of yourself by surrendering all your good

and bad actions to the all mighty Baba. Once you reached to that stage you

are ready to serve other.

 

As you mentioned that you take some initial steps and then found that their

are some mistakes. So you have a doubt in your mind that whether your steps

were wrong or your realization is wrong. But if you again analyze your same

mind that whether you had completely surrendered yourself to God? If you

have not than how come your mind is free of cloud i.e. Maya, i.e. foams of

actions? So the answer is that if you surrender completely to the god of

your all actions, than you are always correct no doubt. Because you do not

have any self of your own that what was your false pride. You belongs to the

body of self of God and God can not be wrong. If one god is wrong then that

god is not merged to the supreme god. So that's why lord Krishna asked

Arjuna, Hey Pirtha, surrender everything to me, whatever you do and whatever

you think, that is me only and that is the absolute truth which is told in

Geeta, That is the truth about Bhagavatam.
