Respected Sai Brothers and Sisters,

SAI RAM. Bhagawan's Love, Grace and Blessings will

always be with you all and on your near and dear ones.

The Most glorious and wonderful discourses of Bhagawan

in Venkatagiri have been on the "Mahabarata". Once in

August'1963, When one Mr.Ramakrishna from Kurnool had

finished given a talk on the Mahabarata, Bhagawan

agreed to everyone's repeated pleadings to talk for a

short time on the Mahabarata, What followed was

awonderful description of a particular incident of the

Mahabarata :

PRIYAMANAVULARA, (LOVED ONE'S)

When Arjuna came to ask Krishna for help before the

Mahabarata, Krishna told him and Duryodhana that he

would take part in the war, but would not lift a

weapon, Many of you do not know that he also said that

he would not get down from his chariot at any point of

time, Everybody knows what happened afterwards,

Durydhana was overjoyed as he got all the armies with

the Weapons etc., Arjuna was overjoyed that Krishna

was with him. As the war raged on Bheeshmacharya's was

causing havoc everywhere, The Pandavas army was

getting battered and could not do anything. During one

particular day, When Bheeshmacharya was at his roaring

best trampling everybody and everything on his path,

Arjuna told Krishna to take him to where Bhesshma was

fighting, When Arjuna got there he was shocked the

Scene where Bheeshma had destroyed everything, As

Bheeshma and Arjuna Rained arrows , it became Clear

that this was the decisive battle of the day, if not

of the war, The Gods in heaven and the Soldiers on the

ground stopped to look at this great battle which

raged on, Suddenly an arrow struck Arjuna on his left

hand, and he fell down from the Chariot, Everybody was

shocked, they had never seen Arjuna fall down during

any battle, Was this the end of the War? everybody

thought, Krishna could not just keep watching, He took

of his Armour, Jumped from his Chariot, Took a wheel

of a broken Chariot and strode towards Bheeshma, It

was like Lord Vishnu with his Sudharshan chakra going

forward, Bheeshma got down and started shouting "Kill

me Lord, Take my Life, Iwant to die in your hands,

what greater happiness can one get, Please kill me?",

And as Krishna stopped for second, Arjuna who had come

running behind inspite of his shoulder Injury, pleaded

with Krishna "Lord: Please you promised that you would

not lift a weapon during the battle, If you yourself

break your vow, What about others, Please Lord, I pray

to you, Come back.". Krishna turned back without a

word. The turning point in the great mahabarata war

was Krishna setting his foot on the Battlefield, not

the fall of Bheeshmacharya, Dronacharya or Karna,

Krishna never got down from his chariot again on the

battlefield, Not even when he preached the Gita, or

even when Jayadratha was being killed. When Krishna's

foot touched the earth for the only time,It limited

the Powers of everyone in the Kauravas army, That was

when Vidhura said during his Commentary to the aged

Dritharastra "Krishna has got down from the Chariot,

It is like Vamana crushing Mahabali, The war is soon

to end My Lord". Such is the Power of the Lord.

Arjuna's Love, Devotion towards Lord Krishna

transgresses everything even that of Lakshmana's Love

for Lord Rama, i.e., why Krishna turned back

immediately when Arjuna pleaded with him to come back.

Everybody thinks that the Mahabarata war was won due

to Arjuna's power of yielding the Bow or Bhima skills

with the Mace, No!, It was won because Krishna gave

them the Power to exercise their skills. That is why

Vidhura at the beggining of the War toLd the Blind

Dritharastra " Wherever there is Krishna there is

Victory of this there is no doubt".

Swami finished his short speech with the singing of

"Sambhavami Yuge Yuge" from the Bhagavad Gita.

apprecia

mso-no-proof:yes">te your emails. About the last email, I would just like to add one small note:

color:navy">Lord Krishna, being God, would never normally break a vow, but as

Swami always says, “whatever God does has a very deep spiritual

significance to it.” Brother Murali

already described the reason for the Lord stepping down. There was one more reason

which I knew and I wanted to share with all of you. Bhishma was a great devotee

of Lord Krishna and when he heard the vow of Lord Krishna, he made another vow

that he would make the Lord step down from the chariot at any cost. To the

Lord, a true devotee’s resolve is far more important than His own.

Krishna graciously fulfilled the desire of His devotee and blessed him thereby.

color:navy">Thanks again Brother Murali.

Dear Brother Murali Krishna,

The love that flowing within you, the flutes that singing those great songs

of divine, who can hear before you? I can see Baba's murali (flute) that

flows every corner of this earth through those sounds you make. After

Ramakrishna, Baba uttered only one word that His supreme presence is

sufficient to win the war whatever form it could be. In this modern world ,

first and foremost war to be fought, to bring back the peace such that

everybody can hear your murali (flute) what Baba like to play. That's why

this incarnation of Baba came back to earth.

The sound of love is so faint today because of the pollution and those

pollutions need to be sucked into the absolute which is completely empty. So

make yourself prepare for that. We all need to be empty, hence need to be

sucked into one supreme being that is Baba. Dump whatever garbage we all

human being had so far carrying, into this supreme name of Baba. Baba means

father. Let him to carry all those garbage and live us clean in this earth

again to enjoy all fruits of heaven. So don't worry about whatever pain you

have. Don't worry about whatever suffering you had in past. In one short

throw it to Baba. Be clean. Only chant His name within your throat. Let

others to hear this sound. Let them to be sucked as you had been. Let them

to be being like you. This is the true muruli (flute) we all need to hear.

With lots of Sai Love

Srimanta
