Swami Keeps a Promise to a Mother

Dear Sai Brothers and Sisters,

 

SAI RAM. Praying to Bhagawan that his grace, Love and

Blessings are on each and everyone of you.

 

At Venkatagiri On August'18th'1962, Bhagawan suddenly

in the Mid Afternoon wanted to go to a nearby small

town named Kalchedu. Everybody found it strange

because Bhagawan never ever went out of Venkatagiri

town when he stayed there. At about 13.00 Hrs, Swami

and the Raja of Venkatagiri along with 2 persons went

in a Car followed by another group of 5 persons in

another vehicle, At the outskirts of the town,

Bhagawan stopped at a small cement house and went

inside, Everybody followed, Bhgawan went into the

first room at the right and in that room was lying on

the bed a young boy of 15 years, looking totally sick

like almost on his last legs. Just then a woman

appeared - His mother and gaped at Bhagawan in

Astonishment and started weeping loudly, Swami came

near her and said in the most soothing voice "I told

you I would come, Here I have come, Your Child will be

blessed forever", The Boy got up from the Bed, Swami

told someone to get a glass and then Bhagwan took the

glass and put his left hand in it and It was filled

with water, Swami told the boy to drink it, After the

boy had drunk the water, Bhagawan created vibuthi and

rubbed it on his forehead and on his arms and then

saisd "Nithurapoo" meaning "Sleep", The boy passed

away after a few minutes. Swami created a beautiful

ring for his mother and told her not to worry and that

after performing the last rites of his son, She should

come to Venkatagiri.

 

The Mother had come to Venkatagiri a few days back to

tell Swami that her son was in the last stages of

Cancer, and that his only wish was to die peacefully

after seeing Bhagawan, She was a very old devotee who

never missed a single day of Bhagawan in Venkatagiri,

Her Son was diagonised with Cancer early in life,

There was no cure for it. Swami promised that he would

meet her son, He did not ask her as to where she was

from and as to where she stayed, The Lord Knows

everything. Bhagawan kept up his word, He always does.
