Guest guest
Respected Sai Brothers and Sisters, SAI RAM. Let Bhagawan's Love, Grace and Blessings be with each and everyone of you and on your near and dear ones at all times. The main aim of me posting Bhagawan's Miracles on the Net is that people read them and get inspired by them and get to know Bhagawan's Glories and his love for everyone. In Venkatagiri on 19th'February'1962, Bhagawan was organising a mass poor Feeding Programme, This was only the Second time in Venkatagiri that a mass programme was organised , and as Bhagawan came out there were at least 3000 people assembled, The Raja of Venkatagiri and others were dumbstruck as they had expected not more than 1000 people, As the Poor feeding started, Bhagawan started going around and enquiring with people as to how the food was, After about 15 minutes, Bhagawan walked into the makeshift Kitchen and after some enquiries, the head cook Ramachandriah (a very long standing Bhagawan's devotee and who always cooked for Bhagawan when he was in Venkatagiri) told Bhagawan with a shaky voice that the food was not sufficient for anyone and it would be impossible to cook again for so many people, Swami quietly admonished him saying that he should have taken necessary precautions beforehand, Bhagawan then asked as to how long the Present food would be sufficient, The Cook replied that it would get over in 10 minutes in which time around 150 people could be fed, Swami then after a brief moment said "So 1000 people will be left", The cook answered in the Affirmative, Swami then asked as to where the vessels cooking the Sambhar and Curd Rice were, Swami went near them and took out a little bit of rice from both the Vessels and after a few seconds dropped them back into the vessels and then told Ramachandriah "After exactly 10 minutes distribute the rice inside to everyone", The Miracle happened, in 10 minutes, both the Vessels became bottomless, Rice after rice appeared in both the Vessels, at least 5000 people were fed that glorious day and into the night. After everybody had partaken of the food Swami said "In the Mahabarata Krishna took a small morsel of rice left over from the vessel after Draupadi had eaten and fed Durvasa and his sages, I had to do the same thing, Food is God, No one should leave without food, Adithi Devo Bhava." Guest guest
Sai Ram, Poor feedings were exceptional experiences during the 70's in Parthi. The women would prepare the food while singing and when the food was ready they would notify Swami who would then take two coconuts and break them and drip the juice over the pots of food. We then would assist in giving the food to the people who had congregated for the event. I would stand near the pots and pass out the plates to be carried out to the guests. As the pots would empty I would try to witness the time when the pots would refill and it was not possible. It was as though I was distracted and when I looked again the pot would be full. Perhaps the energy field was too intense at the time for me to witness. There was always food left in the pots regardless of how many people had been fed. I recall one woman discussing the time when Swami used to love to race people in the village and generally end up on top of the hill down by the river. Occasionally a light would eminate from his forehead that would make some people faint. He finally stopped doing it because he said the energy was to intense for some people to witness. At that time when we spent many hours with Swamy he would tell us of the time to come when there would be so many people visiting that we would not be able to get close to him. It was difficult to imagine when there were just a few dozen of us there at the time. Does anyone know if the Gufa Ashram is still in existance? Swany materialized a unique Akshaya Patra for the group that had a cover and would produce the food required and even other items necessary to the group. The group was located in a cave in the Himalayas along the area of conflict of India with Pakastan. I was told of one occasion when an Indian Army Helicopter landed in a clearing close to the cave to investigate the presence of people in the area. They shared a meal with the devotees from the vessel. Guest guest
Yes you are right Swami did materialize Akshaya Patra for 12 sages and they were sent by Swami to Nara Narayan Gufa in Himalayas.Well there is a book name Nara Narayan Gufa and there you can get details description about the sages their intense sadhana and how this Akshaya Patra provide them food- This Akshaya Patra was given by Swami to the sages as their mother's prayed who will provide them food so Swami did accede their mother's request by materializing Akshaya Patra for them. Now to have a glimpse of them is a blessings as nobody knows why Swami sent them there to do sadhana but some say they are there to protect India from evil forces- as we all know Rishi Aurobindo did intense sadhana for forty years to bring back Poorna Avatar like Krishna to save India and his intense sadhana did not go futile as he declared on Nov 23rd-1926 that Krishna is born again imagine his sadhana was in a small room for forty years-We will find lot of sages in the Himalays who keeps a low profile and some come in disguise to have Swami's darshan in Parthi. Guest guest
The book actually comprises of a trilogy (three small volumes around 100 pages each) and is called Nara Narayan gufa Ashram. The gufa (cave) is pretty high up in the himalayas, around 10,000 ft above MSL and is located near the Manas sarovar, according to the book. Extremely cold and snowed in for most of the year. The ancient sage Nara Narayan was supposed to have done tapas there. Even the army finds it difficult to locate it. The incidents and the details described in it are absolutely amazing, how Bhagawan chose the sages and sent them there. The leader is of Nepali origin and was around 25 - 30 years old when Swami sent the group there. Two of the sages are nearly 100 years old. Swami appears to them frequently and gives them guidance. Many rishis and sages (some apparently are over 300 years old) who are in the Himalayas come to the gufa to spend time with them and to partake the prasadam from the Akshaya patra provided by the Lord. Food, juice, milk appear in the vessel at the appropriate times, as needed by the sages, to exactly suit the timings of their severe austerities. Once the 12 sages got bored of eating only one type of food. (Isn't it surprising that even sages at that high level of evolution have preferences of palate? what of we ordinary mortals?) They prayed to Swami to send them other types of food and accordingly from that evening, different kinds of food, like chappatis and sabji, started appearing on cue... also Swami manifests ghee for the agnihotra rituals and match sticks, so that they do not have to worry about lighting fire through friction methods etc. One gets to realize that our Lord Sai is way beyond our feeble attempts to guage or understand Him. The book reminded me of Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahamsa Yogananda. Definitely an interesting read for all. Madhusudhan

Guest guest
You will find in the book name "Kalki "- "Sri Aurobindo ,who by the Power of his integral yoga delved into the Cosmic Mind was suddenly absorbed in an intense awareness of the Supramental Light's descent into the earth- consciousness. On page 208,of the book, "Sri Aurobindo on Himself and the Mother (1953 edition), it is said , "24th November ,1926 , was the descent of the Krishna into the physical . " " A power infallible shall lead the thought , In earthly hearst kindle the Immortal's fire , Even the Multitude shall hear the voice ! " It is almost certain that the Descent noted by Sri Aurobindo was the Incarnation the previous day , November 23, 1926 , of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
