Dear Sai Brothers and Sisters,

today I went with my two sons (10 and 12 years) to the funeral of their grandpa

(I don't know the english word). As I live in Italy, it was a catholic service

and people are burried or in the earth or in cement holes (which was the

case, quite terrible I think).

Giuseppe (called Peppino by his friens) went in hospital immediately after

christmas, was operated and had so many complications that now, after two

month, he has died.

So, once again, at the age of 40, although I know that death is not the end,

I feel like a small child, not able to "handle" this experience correctly.

I know that he is well and that I must not cry for him, that I must indeed

be happy for him. But since we come to this earth we experience the "material",

our near and dear once laugh in our face, we see their eyes, we can embrace

them. So, how can this change not leave emptiness, someone who is with us

and the next "minute" he isn't any more, how can we not feel lost ? I know

he is with Swami. Swami told me how things would go, although it is so very

difficult for those who are still here, to say goodby to the shell of the

body.

I really feel as though I havn't improved at all during my live, for I am

still not able not to cry for such a loss. What a patience Swami must have

with such a bad student than I am.

Dear Berit

You are still human and have the human feelings. We all feel loss

when someone dies, its natural.

Maybe someday we can overcome grief, its something to strive for.

Dear Sister Berit,

As you mentioned experiencing death is painful because the person

died was to close to you. But you also know that death is also one

truth and you will experience it once. So the void created by death

of one body is one experience and also the death of self is another

experience. When you think about your own death, you have to leave

everybody here and go alone. You will leave all your experiences

with all the persons in this earth, nature, friends, lovers, parent

etc in one short. Does is not the greatest experience than for one

single void where many are still around you to feel those void? Are

you prepare for this supreme experience in your life? Do you make

any preparation for it? You make preparation for everything in your

life but you do not prepare for the supreme experience in your life.

If you experience it atleast once before your actual death how nice

it could be!

As swami says that all those small experiences are your luggage,

throw those first and make your hands and shoulder free such that

you can prepare for the supreme experience by traveling with Him.

Because He knows that traveling with Him is painless and full of

bliss. And this will be your highest experience in life because you

will be traveling with your known guide.

Hope everything will be nice with you by grace of our lord.

With lots of Sai Love

Srimanta

Dear Berit

Sai Ram

When I was a Student in SSSIHL persuing my MBA, our professor told

us about Henry Ford which is as follows:

Henry Ford had said that the Indian 'Doctrine of Karma' and its

offshoot of 'Rebirth Concept' gives me a great confidence because

whatever I planned to do in this birth and if I am unable to complete

it in this birth, I need not worry because I can continue

in the next birth that work from where I stopped in this birth.

No effort is futile. No birth is a waste. Finally NOTHING IS LOST TO

SWAMI.

We are all in the evolution process and we keep taking births till

we realise what we really are.

In the evolution, It took many years for us to become a plant from

stone and again years for us to become an animal from plant and

again many births as varied species of animals to our present birth

as a human being.

Now it will not take that many years and that many births because

human being is the rarest of species and the crown of the creation.

JANTUNAM NARA JANMA DURLABHAM

It is very easy to attain godhood because we are an aspect of

divinity as said in Bhagawat Gita. MAMAIVAMSHO JEEVALOKE JEEVA BHUTA

SANATANAH and also as we have an incarnation with us (Swami).

Each time we cast away our body we are for the progressing for the

better, better birth only. Unless somebody misutilises his present

human birth.

Swami said to Dr Hislop that It is very rare that a human being goes

back to the animal birth. But it is not ruled out.

Let us utilise this birth to attain Swami or atleast a saintly birth

in the next birth to come closer to the next avatar again.

I pray that the departed sould may get peace.

With Love & Regards

Dear Sai Brother,

SAI RAM

During this trying time of your life, Mythoughts are with you and

your family.

My belief on the subject isthat it is quite natural to feel the way

you do on account of the lossof the dear one. How soon do you regain

your balance reflects how deepis your understanding of what SWAMI

preaches.

Sairam Berit,

Is there such a thing as bad student and good student for Swami, the

Loving mother?

God is bound to you by the closest bonds of Love. God is the

nearest, the dearest, the most loving, the most eager companion and

kinsman for man.
