Why February 14th is Valentine Day!!!

How easy is for the human to forget His Creator, Who is all-perfect Supreme

Spiritual Being, the Creator of all things, visible and invisible and Who keeps

them in existance for the welfare of His Creation. God created all things to

create a human to His image and likeness; because He loves us and in His

infinite goodness wants to share His eternal happiness.

Human was made on the Seventh Day, blessing this day and making it holy. So Love

is the origin of all matters and things, which are produced for the welfare of

His Creation and in such circumstances every day to be celebrated as a

Valentine Day. We really are not only unforgetful, but also ungrateful to the

God, who has created all of us, we should remember Him every moment for giving

us such a wonderful exsistance. Instead we only remember Him on Wednesdays or

Sundays or whenever we find time to visit Temple or Church, but there are a few

who remember Him five times a day..

“What is love?”

I find it amazing that world strives for it by many different means;

financially, power, leadership, family, children, temple, church, mosque etc,

etc and yet for some it just can’t be attained. For the few that truly

understand from where it comes they have started to look within and have got

the answer. Some of us have gone down the nearest book store, and have

purchased dozens of the books, brought them home and read them from cover to

cover. A few of them are calling the society for the last few years “The

self-help generation”.

The role and ideals of Love and structure it into a standard system to govern

the human heart and our behaviour in society, is rather ennormous job. You

can't have a yardstick concerning romance and loving gestures, still now in the

21st cent, as it is written about in romance novels and in the movies but what

really is the Love.

The chief virtues are piety, honor, valor, courtesy, chastity, loyalty and as a

rule, only a virgin or another man's wife could be the chosen as love. With the

cult of the Virgin Mary, the relegation of noblewomen to a pedestal reached its

highest expression. Love has often deteriorated into promiscuity and adultery

and pious militance into barbarous warfare.

“He that does not love has not come to know God, because

God is love.”

“If God is all loving, why does he let all this badness go on?”

“The Lord works in mysterious ways!”

“Love is long-suffering and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, does

not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own

interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It

does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all

things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” Love is God;

God is love, and one who remains in love remains in union with God and God

remains in union with him. This is how love has been made perfect with us.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love throws fear outside. God Almighty

says: “Love never fails” - Love can never fail for it is the very nature, the

essence of who and what God is and he has proven himself perfect in everyway

thus far.

We must now consider that with

Knowledge comes

responsibility,

Responsibility with duties, and

Duties with decisions and

with Decisions one cannot help

but be in wait of consequences.

For every action there will be a reaction, this is a universal law whether it is

physical or none, this law remains constant. Love is always put a test at every

turn to see its strength and fulfilment within us.

Every February, across many countries now, candy, flowers, and gifts are

exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. Children know

by sending a Valentine’s card or giving a gift is a expression of Love --

should be a day for romance- Eros, a.k.a Roman Cupid – God of fertility. To

celebrate this day, mind is frantic playing with options-how to make the most

of the day-should we dance the evening away or have a cozy candlelit dinner for

two- how to look best-what sort of gift to be presented-

Please be honest and address this genuine question to self that means you were

not loving each other for these 364 days and are waiting for the 14th to arrive

to express your love instead of loving for all these days or just to remind you

that there is a conept of LOVE, which you have forgotten on account of your

preoccupation in your work. Do not be dogmatic, change yourself or reason out

to make life more healthier and lovable. Imagine, expression of this Love,

produces an everlasting effect on the lives of all. Then why not sprinkle the

fragrance from the Fountain of Love every second, every minute, hour and make a

life lively and watch the results, you will be glowing with aroma of Love, Love

and Love only every where as you are embodiment of Love.

CupidCupid has always played a role in the celebrations of love. In Greek

mythology he was known as Eros, the young son of Aphrodite, the goddess of love

and beauty. To the Romans, he was Cupid, son of Venus. But where there’s love,

there often is jealousy. Venus was jealous of the beauty of Psyche, a mere

mortal, and ordered Cupid to punish her (for being so beautiful). Instead,

Cupid fell deeply in love and took her as his wife.receiving the wound.

As per Baba's philosophy, it is to Love all every moment through out the life

and not only on the 14th Feb. LOVE is universal energy, which keeps every human

alive and force to reckon to. OUR BABA has never let down any one & has been

holding every devotee close to HIS bosom. He never slept or is not sleeping at

all even now as His Fountain of Love is running throughout 365 days,1440

minutes a day, 86,400 seconds a day. If He sleeps the world would come to stand

still, hence there will be no night or morning or afternoon or evening. No Sun,

no moon no stars.Every day & every moment is the Valentine moment for our BABA.

May every heart throb & yonder for the richer harvest of love by nurturing and

nursing with ever growing fountain of love by expressing and be grateful to

Baba, Who has floated a perennial arena of Love and affection non stop with no

distinction for any creed or caste or religion.

Let us be reminded to extend this expression of love not just only to our loved

ones but to extend it to entire creation of Baba. This makes a lot of

difference by adopting an positive attitude towards life. Let the Mansoon of

LOVE flood and engulf the entire world for all the seasons, all the time with

no philosophy or discussion of war any where in this world. Let Love, Peace and

Understanding prevail in the entire World, to enjoy the remaining period of life

& the young generation to beautify their surroundings with fountain of Love,

Love and Love only.

Adopt positive attitude of your love to everybody and remember to put on a

beautiful & cheerful smile to receive all without any exception. Your love,

Your smile is bacon of light in the depressed life, which will lit up the face

of another, who will pass it on to another, and this march will continue till

all are lit to smile and greet each other with Love.This will eradicate the

hatred, greed, lust, anger and ego from the entire universe and there will be

no war to destroy the humanity but there will be flood gate of love which will

spread from the Himayalayan Masters to the brighten the day of a ALL.May BABA,

who has ignited the lamp of love in our heart is indicative of as Sri Haree,

the Lord Vishnu, Who has been burning the lamp of love from the Kheer Sagar in

the company of Mata Lakshmi.

LOVE, LOVE & only LOVE will reach you to the peak of your carrier in Life.
