Thanks for the wonderful message PUSH. While reading the contents of the PPT, I

was reminded of another incident, which I had heard in SGH through the mouth of

Prof AK. The incident happened some years ago, when a very old and ripe devotee

Sri. Ramabrahmam was serving our Swami. Ramabrahmam was described by AK as a

gigantic man with a huge physique. Once Swamy called from his upstairs room

"Ramabrahmam" - Ramabrahmam was walking with a thermo flask in his hand and on

hearing Swamy's call, he went into the room inside to keep the flask in a table

and then climbed to Swamy's room in the first floor. Swamy asked why he had

come. Ramabrahmam said that he heard Swamy calling him. Swamy replied to him

stating that HE called him few minutes back and not now and asked Ramabrahmam

to go. Then after some time, the boys of Brindavan hostel were working on the

ground for a bore well being dug. One of the boys asked Ramabrahmam also to

lend a hand to help them in the task. Ramabrahmam took the crow bar and did a

couple of hits on the ground and after that while walking he stumbled on the

ground and fell down; though he had no injuries, his dress was spoilt with the

sand and mud. Swamy spotted him walking to change his dress and Swamy asked him

what happened to him. Ramabrahmam said that he fell down on the ground and hence

the dirt on his dress. Then Swamy replied saying "When you fell on the ground, I

rushed immediately to your help and saved you with out any injuries; but some

time back when I called you, you took your own time to go and keep the flask

and then report to me; that is the difference between Bhagawan and Bhaktha".

Prof AK narrated this incident in his own style and with the punching remark of

the lessons to be learnt from this. "That whenever we do Swamy's job, we need to

obey His command in letter and spirit - without any questioning whatsoever".

Something similar to the man's task of pushing the rock !
