Compassion of Lord Sai

Dear Sai Brothers and Sisters,

The greatest Quality of Godliness is compassion. This

quality is experienced by each and every student,

teacher at least once personally in his stay in

Prasanthi Nilayam at the lotus feet of the Lord.

 

One Unforgettable Experience of me was in

February'1994. Sitting once pleasant evening in

Prasanthi Mandir, Swami came unexpectedly upto me and

asked me how a particular was studying, I did not open

my mouth due to the fact that, that particular boy was

very bad in studies, and also as many students were

sitting nearby I did not want to put anyone down,

Swami went away and after 10 minutes called me in for

a few minutes along with the boy, gave him a good

dressing and told me that I was personally responsible

for the boys studies from that moment onwards. As days

passed into months, that boy showed great improvement

which I felt was only due to divine intervention, He

became studious, very attentive and suddenly started

possesing all the qualities of a studios student, He

passed out in flying colours. In April that year, when

Swami was giving prasadam to everyone, He gave me some

vibuthi,and as he started to go, turned and gave me a

wonderful smile, and enquired about the boy, I said he

did very well in the exams, Swami then said " How can

he not do well, I spoke to his Heart and changed him

forever". This act of compassion, Love for a suffering

soul has moved me no end in life from then on , which

has led me to undertake any kind of sai service Iam

able to do. Swami changes people through their hearts.
