Her kidneys are not functioning properly as a result of which she is on regular dialysis. With Swami’s grace, however, her blood-related sister has agreed to donate one kidney to her. color:navy;mso-no-proof:yes">She is uninsured and financially challenged, which makes i mso-no-proof:yes">t almost impossible for her to undergo the surgery in U.S. Swami being her only hope, she plans to go to India and have the transplant performed in Swami’s super specialty hospital. color:navy;mso-no-proof:yes">Unfortunately, she speaks very little English and does not know any Indian language. She wan mso-no-proof:yes">ts to know the procedure for getting admitted in Swami’s hospital. Are there long waiting periods? Could she speak mso-no-proof:yes">to the doctors over the phone and then visit India when the treatment/operation date is near? As she is on dialysis, she cannot stay there for a very long time without dialysis. color:navy;mso-no-proof:yes">I know about the wonderful work Swami’s ins mso-no-proof:yes">titution is doing but I am completely ignorant about detailed operational procedures, etc. What would be the best approach for someone like her? Would someone be able to guide me in the right direction? I do not know if Kidney transplants are being performed currently. This is the best course of action, before any further plans are done. In his service with love, Meena CH.
