I am scheduled to visit New York in mid february in order to attend a conference and training for autism. I would greatly appreciate if anyone living in New York or vicinity could give me some guidance as to how to reach Valley Cottage and which would be the closest airport and if I were to take public transport is it safe to hire a cab or if there might be other means of transport to get to my destination. Since I do not have any friends or relatives in the area, it would be a great help if anyone could respond. I have cc'ed this e-mail to the Presidents of all these centers and they can forward you their individual programs. I will also forward you the announcements of New York City center in a separate e-mail. NYC center meets 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month from 6:30PM - 8PM. Please note the contacts in the e-mail. They are: Mr Sunil Lekhi, President of New York City Center - meet 1st&3rd Fridays of month from 6:30PM - 8PM (sending you a follow-up with details) Ms Regina Williams, President of Manhattan Center - meet every Thursday from 6:30PM - 8:00PM in a church on 83rd Street and Lexington Ave. (Regina - plz follow up with details) - anandasai Ms Noelina Arcenias, President of Metropolitan Center - meet every Saturday (Noelina - plz follow up with details) - na123 Ms Maya Sadhwani, President of UN Center - mayasadhwani When you are in US, you may contact anyone or all. You are invited to all centers to visit.
