What better way to start the year 2005

Today morning there was a musical program in mandir, where devotees

from every district in India came together to sing songs and then

the devotees from overseas also performed some songs. Then Swami cut

few cakes which the devotees brought. Then the bhajans started.

There are quite a few people here for the new year, since the next

two days are holidays more time to stay here in Puttaparthi.

Yesterday after midnight there was huge celebration with crackers

outside mandir. Which went on for half an hour or so. But in general

the new year was a bit low key affair all over india due to tragedy

of Tsunami. May all those souls rest in peace.

What better way to start the year than by giving to some charity

which can help the Tsunami victims.

Here is the link of all the charities, you can give to any one of

them.
