"By some desires and by some actions of our parents and also by the Sankalpa or the wish of God, this body, the human body which we may call the pot, comes into existence. This life, Jiva, can be compared to the mud in the mound which goes on diminishing time after time. The body is going to be destroyed. All these human bodies in time are going to be destroyed and converted back into mud. So also we have to accept that the contents of all these human bodies which have come from the primary spirit, after they have been used and destroyed, will again return to the source. What is it that is born? What do you mean by 'I was born?' What was born was the body. If we make the enquiry 'What existed before we were born?' then if it did exist, there is no question of its being born. Suppose we take the view that it did not exist at all. If it did not exist, where is the question of something which did not exist and does not exist being born? How are we to find this out? How do we get the knowledge of what is this 'I'? Those texts which tell us and teach us answers to these questions are called Upanishads and Sastras. It is not possible to understand yourself, without seeking it from experienced people and without seeking it from Upanishads and without practising what these texts teach. You have the flowers, you have the needle, you have the thread. Will it become a garland of its own accord? There must be someone who will put these flowers together. You have gold. You have diamonds. Will ornaments come into existence on their own? Someone has to make them. You have intelligence, you have education. But are you going to realise the nature of the self? God is one who had no beginning and will have no end. Thus if the newcomer wants to know what the one without an end and without a beginning is, you have to go and ask the Sastras to tell you the method of knowing. If you go to a new place, you generally meet with people called guides, whose duty is to tell you all about that new place. That place has been there all the time. The one who tells you about the place which has been there for all time, that guide will be referred to as the Purathana or the ancient. How long will this new man who has gone there remain new? So long as the ancient person who is there, who is telling the newcomer all the things needed and so long as you do not know them, you remain a new man. But when you have learnt through the guide who has been there for a long time, then you become experienced and you can understand the nature of Sanathana or this eternity. This understanding has also been called the understanding of Brahman, the eternal. He Himself becomes the Brahman. So if you want to understand the full significance of this Sanathana or the eternal truth, the way to do it is to join these Purathanas, those who have been there for some time, like the Sastras, and through them and with their help you understand the nature of this divine and you yourself join the divine by that process." Guest guest
Light and Love Everyone in this planet has own destiny and duty. There are no lower and higher, less or more important duties. All are playing as actors in this Divine play of Atma or Cosmic consciousness by Swami and also nearly by modern science. >From year to year the modern science is reaching nearer and nearer to Swami's Teaching. The modern science declares that words, thoughts are energy. Swami's Teaching is not only words, directions, discourses, etc., but all His Work is the carrier of the Divine Energy. Why not to spread this Divine Energy from a little another angle? Maybe it is my real duty (after official work tasks) to obtain peace and reach too nearer to the enlightenment by Swami's Grace? Maybe, these compilations are my own study-circle? I am very thankful to all 'saibanews' members' for their messages. They are the carriers the same Swami's Divine Energy from different aspects. We all have the same Atmic essence, what would be connected with selfless love. Would be, but in the harsh world it is far not so... Swami points to it in every His Discourse and asks to follow and practice His directions. PS: The scientific point of view to the Universe and to reality as a spark towards integration science and spirituality (However, the way to the full integration is long yet). Today more and more people are beginning better to understand the scientific, spiritual and metaphysical principles and laws that govern our mind and how it impacts the invisible (and visible) world around us. Modern science indicates a new way of awareness concern to science and whole existence at all. However, more correctly it is not a new way of awareness, but the very old one, Vedic way what discussed, analyzed, complemented by Swami, and energized with His Divine vibrations. It His Teaching! (Scientists used for explanation different words, and different experiments which lead them nearly to the same standpoints). Is it the beginning of the new era of integration of spirituality and science? In 1982 at the University of Paris a research team led by physicist Alain Aspect performed one of the most important experiments of the 20th century what may change the face of science. By this experiment in certain circumstances subatomic particles such as electrons, photons are able to instantaneously communicate with each other regardless of the distance separating them. The particle seems to know what its partner particle is doing on the other end of Galaxy, for example. By Aspect's experiments travel faster than the speed of light is real. It has inspired physicists to search new explanations of existence. University of London physicist David Bohm concluded that the reason subatomic particles are able to remain in contact with one another regardless of the distance separating them is not because they are sending some sort of mysterious signal back and forth, but because their separateness is an illusion. He argues that at some deeper level of reality such particles are not individual entities, but are extensions of the same fundamental something. This phenomenon is logical to explain by holographic theory. If a hologram is divided into endless tiny pieces, and then illuminated by a laser, each piece contains the entire image. Every part of a hologram contains all the information possessed by the whole. The "whole in every part" nature of a hologram provides humans with new way of understanding organization and order. A hologram shows that if we try to take apart something constructed holographically, we will not get the pieces of which it is made, we will only get smaller wholes. Our seemingly three-dimensional universe could be completely equivalent to alternative quantum fields and physical laws "painted" on a distant, vast surface. The latest theoretical results about black holes suggest that the universe could be like a gigantic hologram. By holographic theory the subatomic particles in Aspect's experiment are not separate "parts", but facets of a deeper and more underlying unity that is ultimately as holographic and indivisible one. And since everything in physical reality is comprised of these "eidolons", the universe is itself a projection, a hologram. It indicates that at a deeper level of reality all things in the universe are infinitely interconnected. The electrons from brain, body, eyes etc., are connected to the subatomic particles that comprise every galaxy, star, tree, every heart that beats, every stone... Everything interpenetrates everything, including time and space, and Nature is ultimately a seamless web. At its deeper level reality is a sort of super-hologram in which the past, present, and future all exist simultaneously. It is a description of Atmic reality by today's science! Standford's University neurophysiologist Karl Pribram (Nobel Prize winner), has also become persuaded of the holographic nature of reality. By Pribram's theory human brain is a hologram. In fact, this standpoint has gained increasing support among neurophysiologists. By this standpoint humans are as "receivers" floating through a kaleidoscopic sea of frequency, and what we extract from this sea and transmogrify into physical reality is but one channel from many extracted out of the super-hologram. (This picture of reality, the synthesis of Bohm and Pribram's views, called the holographic paradigm, and although many scientists have greeted it with skepticism, it has galvanized others. A group of researchers believe it may be the most accurate model of reality science has arrived at thus far). A ribosome in a cell in body is supplied with amino acid building blocks and is powered by energy released by the conversion of ATP to ADP (adenosine triphosphate to adenosine diphosphate), but it can synthesize no proteins without the information brought to it from the DNA in the cell's nucleus. Likewise, a century of developments in physics has taught us that information is a crucial player in physical systems and processes. Indeed, a current trend, initiated by John A. Wheeler of Princeton University, is to regard the physical world as made of information, with energy and matter as incidentals.
