Please consult your local medical establishment who can advise you anti-malarial tabs suitable for south India. You should take these tablets one week before you start to go to India and continue throughout your stay and two weeks after come back from India. The other important thing is you should avoid the mosquito bites by repellent creams and by the effective method is to use mosquito net at night. I like to share my experience, but do listen to how you and your friend experience my information. I have been to Puttaparthi for ten times now. And only the first 2 times have I been using the allopathic agressive means against malaria. This month a friend of me is told by professionals in healthcare for travelling abroad that Puttaparthi is not in a risk- zone for malaria at the moment. For security I take at the beginning of my stay in India, ayurvedic medicine that are meant for purifying your blood and liver in case there might come some 'strange substance' in my body. Those medicine like 'Liv 52'are easy to obtain in Puttaparthi , but I like to recommend to ask a ayurvedic doctor about what is approptiate to your friend's constitution. Sai Ram, wishing your friend a wonderful time in Puttaparthi and ahappy and healthy travel home....Marjuna, Netherlands ---------- "webmaster sairama com" <webmaster.sairama.com@club- internet.fr> Sat Nov 27, 2004 8:23am RE : [saibabanews] Re: Question about Malaria for a travel to India Sai ram May be be careful paludism Use your common sense And Swami will protect you Regards Jean-François saibabanews, Mensajes de Claudio M.
