SUDA out to beautify Puttaparti

PUTTAPARTI: Sri Satya Sai Urban Development Authority (SUDA) was undertaking

several development activities in the famous Puttaparti town under the

stewardship of SUDA chairman Kota Satyanarayana.

 

Speaking to this website’s newspaper, he said that Necklace Road from

Anjaneyaswamy temple to Kammavaripalle road was one of the prestigious projects

taken up by SUDA. Much importance was being given for improvement of internal

roads and formation of new roads for easy movement of traffic.

 

Formation of a 80-feet road from Chitravati road to Tanamalapalle bypass all

along the Chitravati river bank and beautification of the same and improvement

of several junctions in the town were also taken up.

 

Concentrating on eco-friendly measures, a Rs 1.5 crore two million litres

per day capacity sewage treatment plant is also in the offing, he said.

 

To ease congestion in the town, SUDA is planning to develop two townships -

one near the staff quarters of Sri Satya Sai Super Speciality Hospital and

another township at RV Janakiramaiah ghat, Satyanarayana explained.

 

Construction of SUDA office at an estimated cost of Rs 40 lakh is also on

cards, he added.
