"Shun selfishness, egoism: Saibaba" The article by staff reporter.

PUTTAPARTHI, NOV. 22. Sathya Saibaba has said that the divinity can be

experienced by ridding the mind off egoism and selfishness. He has stated that

the nature is the first and foremost preacher and it will teach everything in

life.

In his discourse on the occasion of 23rd convocation of Sri Sathya Sai

Institute of Higher Learning in Sai Kulwanth Hall at Prashanti Nilayam here on

Monday, he said there was no other spiritual practice beyond love. He stated

that transcendental love spreads divinity and the love could be experienced not

explained.

Expressing concern over degenerating values, Saibaba said there was no scope

to speak about the God in the present day world. Money was being given utmost

importance than anything else, he said. As a result, there was no true

compassion and love left in the materialistic world.

Stating that the God was omnipresent, he said there was nothing in the world

other than love which could be shared.

Vice-Chancellor of the deemed university, S.V. Giri, said a three-semester M.

Phil course was introduced this year. The University Grants Commission had
