Light and Love On the eve of Swami's birthday, our Sai groups are more

active as usual. All the week before the official celebration, various

meetings and study-days have organized. Russian groups discussed on the topic

of Swami's philosophy based on Vedic wisdom and the power of His Divine

vibrations. Estonian groups of teachers, specialists has officiated a study-day

on a bosom of the wild nature Western Estonia. A big bus was full of spiritual

seekers, devoted to Swami and to His Teaching. As always, it happens that the

day was sunny and quite warm. It is to say a rarity in our wet and cold climate

in autumn. Our study-day began with a trip (about 17 kilometers) to a

coastal forest and seacoast of Baltic Sea. There were places where 10,000 or

more years ago a huge meteorite has fallen and formed the specific terrain in

this district. There is still possible to find pieces of stones or large stones

that are the patterns of liquid lava from depth the Earth. These small and large

"Bretcha" stones are as an evidence of unity of all that a human mind can

apprehend. Past and present age of the planet as fuses here into one being. On

the coast of a beautiful lake (probably the lagoon of an ancient sea) Reet

delivered the report ”How to reach close to the Self." In the beginning of

speech, Swami's recent four discourses have properly introduced. It is easy to

discuss about the Self but far not easy to put the received information into

practice. I supposed that the vibrations of wild nature with patterns of past

supported to contemplate with the Self and brought Swami's Divine energy closer

to every participant of the study-day. The nature as gives an inspiration for

experiences to learn everything possible about the world in general and our life

in particular. Everyone as has a possibility to look within and to determine

what motivates his/her, what a member of study day are seeking in life and what

changes he/she should make so that life will turn towards spiritual path.

During the trip were a lot of time for contemplation with the Self through its

true reflector wild Nature. Breeze, "singing" coastal sands, water flows,

coastal pine forest and our group as small moving points were all the day long

in the eternal rhythms of the nature where past is intertwined with present.

In cloudless Nordic sky the Sun flares and heats similarly frozen mushrooms,

small stalks of cranberries, cowberries, and us... The Sun as embraced with

identical caress all the landscape where we were as Swami's Omnipresent Energy

of Love - the Divine Light as a pinpointer to His devotees and followers.

In honor Swami in library of Tartu University the public review of movie

"Sai You Are" (transferred on the Estonian language) and a concert of the

Indian music will organize on 23 November 2004. We organized and will

organize with smaller public groups the collective readings of Swami's Works

and listening to Bhajans, performed by Swami.

Our other actual topic of study circle dedicated to Swami’s Birthday was the

power of sound and music in the light of Vedas, Swami's Works and recent

discoveries of modern science. About it, I will tell in the next contribution.

Happy Birthday, Swami. This day is a Divine gift to humanity and also a

devotees day to look within, to contemplate with own conscience, and to obtain

faith to the Divine powers.

Jiddu Krishnamurti has said: "Love does not demand a thing from another -

nothing, physically, emotionally, intellectually. Has love a cause? If it has

not, then love and intelligence go together... Love is something beyond all

causation, which is order, then the universe is open - because the universe is

order. If love has a cause, it is not love." Swami's Message, Life Duty

enlightens humanity asking nothing in return (except one's capability to

experience the Divine Love for own benefit) is a beautiful example of reality

of these words. Namaste - Reet
