Sai Ram

I am Hareesh Chandran residing at Pathanamthitta, Kerala. I believe that i am a

Sai devotee but i don't know whether Swami will approve that. I am attending

Sai seva for the last 7 years. Ours is a small village called Perunad. Here

there is a small samithi and we meet every sunday and have bhajans.

Only Baba has that answer for you. The best thing to do is ask him.

You can sit quietly, with a photo of Baba if that will help you to

focus, and ask him whatever you want. Everyone will be able to give

their opinion but what you really want is God's answer.

You are very lucky fellow that you are engaged in doing "Sai seva"

for the last seven years.Then what is that you d'nt feel contented

within yourself.When you take meals daily to satisfy your hunger,

d'nt you feel satisfied yourself.Whether you need anybody's

certification for that, Self contentment needs no further

certification.

This is the reward of your service.Sai is inner motivater.

Withthout His will you ca'nt do any thing.So feel proud of yourself

that you are associated with noble work of Sai.

Your mail is indeed very touching. Swami showers special grace on

humble people like you . So you are very dear to Swami. People like

us from the cities have somewhere on the way lost this humbleness

and are searching for it as Swami doesn't allow without that. You

have simplicity and humbleness which are great virtues. You are

already what we want to become after intense sadhana. Please keep

mailing your experiences to this forum. May Swami bless you and your

folks in your village.

Sai Ram Chandran,

Swami accepts any seva that is done with selfless love, for the

cause to remove suffering in the person served, with 100% purity in

your heart with no strings attached to that service.

Any time you feel that "you" are engaged in Sai Service, that still

is attachment and Swami will wait till you feel as the "zero" and

just an instrument in his hand. He will move you.

Swami accepts the Quality and not the quantity of service or the

served. Number does not matter to Bhagawan, but the intention behind

the service. You can feed one hungry person standing on the street

and give him an opportunity to stand on his feet by giving him some

job, boosting his self conifdence, that will reach Swami than go as

a group, and do the service of feeding as it is a part of the Samiti

activity. Transformation is what Swami seeks in the served and the

serving.

Besides all of these, Swami likes people going within and reach into

their own hearts and conscience that is purified in the path of

Satya, Dharma, Shanti and Prema.

I am nobody to speak on behalf of what swami likes, but this is

what I picked up from Sai Literature and from personal experiences

in the Sai Medical Seva in Parti, the community where I live and

observation.

there is a poem by swami

the jist is that Swami will not accept all the flowers that are

brought to him for worship. What he will accept is the Heart that is

like the Lotus (untouched by the dirt although born in dirt), that

satya Sai who is the giver of love and peace.

Swami has defined on innumerableoccassions who is a true devotee.

 

My personal view is please donotburden yourself with such neative

thoughts. It is like asking whether amother approves of her child or

not.

 

Swami is embodiment of LOVE.
