Swamis interest in chanting Vedas

Of late Swami is taking keen interest in eduacating vedas and their chanting by

young students and others.In fact vedas contain some gem of mantras which

chanted in the perfect intonation will have many effects.Yagnas are conducted

by chanting vedic mantras for the welfare of humanity as a whole and not for

any particular religion or people.Swami being the Indweller of all has taken

this step so that the vibrations that emanate from chanting vedic mantras like

Purusha Suktham,Rudram,Chamakam,Sri Sujtham,Bhagya Suktham etc can bestow nice

qualities on the people who chant the same in perfect ways will create

atmospheric vibrations and energise the cosmic sound which in turn bestow peace

and prosperity on this planet which is torn by wars,loss of peace,material

avariousness,all sorts of evil things which make people lose their real

identity and crave for demonical ways to power and pelf forgetting those are

only euphemeral and never giove humanity the much desired shanthy for the

mind.The result is absolute chaos in the peoples minds, ecological disturbances

etc.This has the great calamitous effect if not stemmed at least now.

Rishis of yore did penance and gt Vedas directly from the Creator and they did

yagnas and chanting for the welfare of the humanity and all the

creations.Unfortunately now these are professed for the material gains

everywhere.So Swami out of HIS love for the uplift of at least some souls to

great heights where they can find sat chit ananda and absolute bliss have

initiated the chanting of mantras in younger minds and by HIS Grace they will

be able to continue this practice in their lives to make the same worthy.If all

forgive me I am the one not attracted by Swamis so called material

manifestations out of air though I dont say they are sleight of hand trick or

magic but genuine ones which can be done by great souls when they control the

five elements of nature.They by their will power change the elements to the

desired objects.It is possible and their is no miracle in this.Even Swami has

acknowledged this.I am enamoured however by HIS love for the devoted people

whatever be their

faiths by doing enormous services just to make the devotees understand that

sedrvice is the best form for the human beings.May be to inculcate faith in the

minds of people who have no idea of all these things HE does such miracles.I am

not going to have a debate on this.He does this for HIS own reasons which cant

be questioned by anybody as there is gulf odf difference between HIM and

ordinary mortals.But the point Swami wants to stress may be that all people

should live in peace and for that the atmosphere must be vibrated by peaceful

radiations and should not be polluted thoughts of human beings.As all

scientists know that that whatever we think that get embedded in ether and fill

the atmosphere and that is the reason when we visit some places we feel a sense

of peace and security while visiting some places bad thoughts come into

minds.This is because of the thoughts emanated from us only.So by chanting

vedic mantras the atmosphere is cleaned of bad vibrations and people find

happiness and peace.when this is done on a mass scale the whole world will get

the vibrations overa period and all unwanted thoughts will e removed and an

atmosphere of peace and bliss descend in human minds which will alter the

living things humans or animals or plants into a state of peace and the world

will become a place worthy of living.Of course this cant be achieved in some

years.It is a gradual process of evolution and Swami has sown the seeds for

this purpose and as years roll by the future generations will live in harmony

and there will be one religion, religion of love.This is what I feel when Swami

is showing interest and insist on chanting vedic mantras as they belong to the

whole humanity and not to any particular perons.It embraces all religions and

all people of all countries within its fold so that there wont be any

difference and no have nots,no poverty,suffering and the whole world will

become one of Vasudeva Kudumbam.Sairam.

 

I will be interested if some devotees share the view in another angle just to

develop the knowledge as after all only thru this type of fora such exchanges

can be discussed and that will help everso many devotees of Bhagawan.
