Hello

I am planning to go to Puttaparthi on 27 november. However my air plane

arrives at 9 p.m at Bangalore so I am forced to stay overnight at

Bangalore. Do you know if I can stay in Ashram, I do not know where is it

located and if I will be accepted after 9. pm or if somebody can suggest

me some good, but low price hotel in Bangalore.

Sai Ram Dear Sister

M yhumble pranams at the lotus feet of Bhagwan Baba.

Sister, you can stay in Whitefield at the Sai Renaissance Hotel -

you just take a taxi from the airport to Whitefield - the hotel has

a website - www.sairenaissance.com

their prices are like E20 per night including breakfast. After an

early breakfast you can head off to Prashanti Nilyam in a Sumo

Rented Car. I think it costs round Rs,1,500.

If there is any thing else I can help out with, please do not

hesitate to contact me. Have a wonderful darshan, enjoy in the

presence of the DIVINE.

At the above hotel, you will be accepted even at early hours of the

morning providing you have a prior booking. The staff is very well

disciplined.

RE: [saibabanews] Can anybody help me

Sai Ram Sis,

If i`m not mistaken rooms wont be available at the Whitefields Ashram

while Swami is in Puttaparthi.(As far as I can recall)

Alternatively you can always rent a room in front of the Ashram at

whitefileds.

It`s very very cheap.

The last I paid was something like RS150-RS200 per night.

There are many rooms to let there.

See if I can locate the ctc number.

Anyway it should not be a problem as there are heaps of rooms

available.

Jai Sai Ram.

Sai Ram Barbara,

It is reasonable for you to stay at Saffina Hotel. All prepaid TAxi

drivers know where it is. You get a good breakfast in the morning

and after that you can go by car to Puttaparti. It takes 3 hours

door to door. Whitefield is 30 minutes away from the airport. If I

know tha Ashram rules, it is difficult to get accommodations after 8

PM.

I dont know wether you are allowed to stay in Ashram but there is

very nice hotel near Ashram called SAI RENNAISANCE tel no

+918028456266. They charge around 700 Rupees per room for 2 people

Sairam,

You could stay in Hotel Cauvery on Cunningham Road (many Sai

devotees frequent this place) or Woodlands Hotel at Richmond Circle.

I suggest you book the rooms in advance so that you do not get

stranded when you land in Bangalore. There are many other hotels in

the MG Road and Residency Road areas, which are all within half an

hour's drive from the airport.

Look at www.apnabangalore.com for more info on hotels.

Re: [saibabanews] Can anybody help me

Sai Ram brother,

Whitefield ashram is about 10 KM from the airport. However , I doubt

if you can get a room in the ashram itself. Further to travel to

whitefield the taxis would cost you a lot.

I suggest that you stay in Airport Rest Room - if available on rent -

(I am not sure) or move to Hotel Chalukya , which on the palace

road. The rooms should cost you about 750 / 1000 rs per day. If

thats high then you have the Yatri Nivas near the railway station

which offer rooms for about Rs 400 / day and also dormitory for

about Rs 150 per day.

To go to Puttaparti , you can choose a Taxi or a Bus. But personally

I would travel by Prashanthi Express , which leaves Bangalore by 12

PM and rach parthi by about 5 -6 PM.

Sairam and all the best

Shrikant

BANGALORE is an absolutely beautiful little city so don't think

of it as being "forced". Swami wants you to see a pretty face of

India!

I stay, usually at the Ashraya Hotel. There, Mr. Bala Gopal has a

taxi stand which is terrific and with all safe drivers and cars.

They treat you like their own family. The hotel is inexpensive,

serves "veg" meals and has a western style restaurant and an Indian

one. If you want to go fancy on your first trip for one night, stay

at the West End. Absolutely fabulous place to rest up for the long

journey to Puttaparthi. Sai Ram. You go to meet your mother!

Sai Ram:

Dear BArbara:

Nice to hear that you are going to parthi. I know you had been

invited by swami to come there. Good news.

Alos you were asking cheap hotels, ok ,but careful about your things

( DOCUMENTS)

I will give you a taxi driver he is actually my and my friends and

family driver for the last couple of years. I trust him. Even I give

my passport for him to keep. He do that. But you call him he would

not charge you much, but the fuel costs we have to pay. I used to

RS. 1200.00 last year to go to parthi from Bangalore airport. May be

couple of hundreds would have been gone up. He can put you in a

hotel or take you down there and put in one of the hotels in the

night and next day morning you can check out and go inside to the

rooms. I would advise you to think and ask his ideas. Coming back

what you can do is put a notice in all buildings thatyou are leaving

on this time and you need 2 people to join with you, then you can

share the cost. That makes cheaper for you. But do not trust blindly

unknown.

His name is Sebastian and daughters name is Suzie.

The number is 011-91-80-545-4707 res number

Cell number is 011-91-98-451-35499.

So far I trust him. Pls give him a call and let me know then I will

call him and tell the details and to look after you.

I can be reached at 905-565-5702 or 416-254-2316 I am from Canada

Ontario province city of Mississauga.

Hope this will gives what you need, if anything pls feel to contact.
