Guest guest
I have been noting observations made by many Mumukshus (seekers of Moksha) in this forum On Self Realisation. In this regard I have to say the following: Swami quite often asks us "What do you want?". Many people reply seeking many a thing. I too have the Similar experience. The discussion that took place between Swami and me is as follows: Swami: "What do you want?" Me: Swami I want your grace. Swami: You dont need me??? Me: Swami I need you. Swami: If you have Swami, you will get everything else. Similar incident happened with one of my class mates whom Swami asked the same question "What do you want?". My friend replied "Swami Padanamaskar". Swami replied the same "If you have Swami, you will have everything else. Dear Friends, at the first instance we do not know what we want and least of all atleast I do not know what is self realisation in the true sense. So the best way as per Swami's instructions is to SEEK SWAMI AND EVERYTHING WILL COME TO YOU UNASKED FOR" Regards
Guest guest
"sunanda" <microsoul Sun Oct 17, 2004 1:05pm Re: Some Doubts on Self Realization All beings are realized when there is a wiilingness to look within and see that there is no 'other'. All are one. Baba clearly has said many a time : ' i and you are one! " so it is not that self realization is a'goal' to be 'acheived' in TIME and space. al are realized each moment . why ? since... All that is , is GOD. AND ALL ARE ONE! so who or what is not realized??! SUNANDA ---------- GANAPATHY RAMAN <agraman62 Mon Oct 18, 2004 3:12pm Re: [saibabanews] Self Realization - "What do you want?" dear sai brother Akkanna, It is a nice piece that you have posted.I really appreciate. When we dont know what is actually self realisation apart from the contents of some books there is no point in having a debate on the subject.Only thing I wish to stress is should we be in the lower standards always.why cant we try to move upwards by more efforts and try to get some sort of inner experience prescribed by practicing various things. Will that be a bad thing. When some nice things are written should not we try that.Every child from the time it has come down to earth is trying to crawl, sit, stand, walk only by its own efforts. Not leaving everything to others as others cant help much but give some guidance. So in the spiritual realm one should try to achieve his or her goal by sustained efforts.Leaving everything to Swamy will lead one nowhere as Swamy can give only guidance and it is for an ardent sadhak to try and get himself elevated in spiritual plane.By yourself eating my stomach wont be filled. For that I have to eat.Just like that in spiritualism also one as to put his or her own efforts taking guidance from realised souls.Swamy cant lift one up in the realm of spirit unless the sadhak is a genuine stuff. Dont think I am saying this out of any negative impulses or ego centred mind but in a pragmatic way.Swamy will also say the same think.Unless one tries to uplift himself by taking guidance he or she will not achieve anything. Not only in spiritual domain but even in mundane matters. Of course you may not like this palatable but this is the fact.If Swamy gives another opportunity to you to have an interview you can very well clarify with HIM and I am sure HE will say the same thing.I am saying this with a positive attitude and not with doubts as I am not a doubting Thomas as some people think but one must have an analytic bent of mind.without that blind faith without proper conviction will not pull anybody up.Even Swamy Vivekananda says the same think.Inhis early childhood he met many people to find out whether anybody has seen God and can show the path to HIM but many could not answer and it is finally the magnetic personality of Bhagawan Ramakrishna who said with authority that HE has seen GOD in a way he has seen young Narendra.Ramana Maharishi also says the same thing. As you seem to be a student this topic may be confusing to you but in course you will know by the Grace of God.For everything Grace is absolutely essential and it wont come so easily to all depending upon their karma and their devortion. In this I have given another way of answering dear brother Soumendra. Anyway you have done a very gud job and God will certainly bless you.sairam. Lovingly in sai, agraman. ---------- sherry jagdeo <sherryjagdeo Mon Oct 18, 2004 3:49pm Re: [saibabanews] Self Realization - "What do you want?" Aum Sai Ram ! i agree that we should seek Swami first and thus in a nutshell , we have everything i imagine if ever Swami ever asks me that in reality what i'll ask for ! i may become speechless ! in this world through our limited vision we are not sure what's best for us. i'm not too sure of this quote from the bible , but it goes something like this , please forgive me if its not the exact words : " Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and then all else shall we added......" sherry jagdeo Trinidad, West Indies saibabanews, Akkanna_Pragada Anantha_Vijaya <aavijaya> wrote: > Sai Ram > > I have been noting observations made by many Mumukshus (seekers > of Moksha) in this forum On Self Realisation.
