Bangalore-Puttaparthy IA flight from Oct 11

Chennai, Oct 5: Indian Airlines today said it would be introducing a new service

between Bangalore and Puttaparthy, the abode of Sathya Sai Baba, with effect

from October 11.

An IA release said here that an Airbus A320 service would be operated on the

route on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. It would leave Bangalore at 1.30

p.m. and reach Puttaparthy at 2.00 p.m.

In the return direction, the flight would leave Puttaparthy at 2.40 p.m. and

reach Bangalore at 3.10 p.m.

The one-way fare on executive class would be Rs 2,640 and in the economy class

it would be Rs 1,825, the release said. (Our Correspondent)

I think there is also a flight from mumbai to puttaparthi - if anyone knows

the details please foreward them - as i am plannning to parthi in feb 05
