What do the scriptures and holy people say about signs

Hello to all my wonderul Sai Brothers and sisters ...

May Swami's blessings always be upon each of you.

 

I have another question if I could

 

Does anyone here have any knowledge about what the

Vedas or scriptures say ... or even various holy people say

about HOW TO TELL when you are in the presence of the

Divine ... what are the signs? If any....

 

How does one distinguish the holiness of the passing

sadhu who comes to you .....?

 

And how would you be able to tell if they weren't holy ... so

to speak ... but very negative.

 

These are things have been much on my mind of late and

I would be curious if anyone out there could point me

in any direction on this topic.

 

Again ... May Swami's wonderful blessings be upon one

and all .... and may the upcoming Navarathri be truly

blessed for ALL .... .

Dear sister Melody,

sairam. This is a very nice and useful question.

 

Some body asked Dalai Lama, how to recognise one's own

Guru. Dalailama replied" when student is ready,

teacher himslef willappear,; student need not have to

search for the Guru.

 

In Gurucharitra ( not Shirdi Sai satcharitra) also it

is very clearly answered how one meets a satguru( I

hope you know that Satguru and Guru are related but a

subtle difference exists). This was told by Siddha to

Namadharaka.

 

Baba clarified to many that it is by their past good

actions, they could visit parti.

 

In short, when we meet a holy person, He pulls us to

him not we seek to him.

 

As it is felt by heart, answer too has to come to each

person from his/her own heart. I wrote long back some

thing in my diary ' SIgns of God", If you are

interested, I will send it. It might answer yr

question.

 

Sorry, I couldnt quote from scriptures.Baba might

help you to answer yr question in a better fashion.

With Bhagwan Baba- no preparations are required- Believe me my dear sister

i have been seeing Him, Experiencing Him physically , since 1969.

Pl approach Bhagwan with openness. You would be delighted, i bet, Swamy

immediately acknowledges, by whatever means He chooses to -Thats between

any guidance from scriptures/ Vedas ?

proof of the pudding is in eating, however much you read the books- dont

have to eat all the pudding - just taste it

you would know the difference - real or fake.There are many who claim-

whose followers- swear about- some Sadhus or rishis, and their Glory.

whether they fit your bill- you have to experience.

for eg. some are drawn by music some by the concept of physical and

mental fitness- i say Yoga, others have Occult powers are their 1st

choice, some are

are drawn by service mindedness, some have the local considerations- like

there is something relegious/ spiritual activity going on in my place-

am curious yet not bold enough to venture.

These are the scenarios we are drawn to.

i tend to believe from your questions- you are already in theRight Path-

so why the need to search for 25 watts Bulb when you have Sun

withYou-in You. when Sai is already installed in your Heart where's the

need for further search and analysis and theorising.

you already have the best diamond yet you seem to plan a visit Africa

for mining Diamonds!!
