The team is on a ten-day tour of India to promote a better understanding between the people of the two countries. They will also study the economic development of India and its industries. During their short stay in the City the team visited Biocon, several hospitals and information technology companies including Infosys, Wipro and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Conservative Party MP for Mid Worcestershire, Opposition Chair CPFIN and leader of the team, Peter Luff, was particularly impressed with the quality of medical services offered in the hospitals in the City. Speaking after visiting Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Peter said that while some hospitals offered medical treatment at exorbitant rates, some others offered the same services at no cost at all. "The quality of medical care is remarkable," said Peter. Copyright 2004, The Printers (Mysore) Private Ltd. New and Improved Mail - Send 10MB messages!
