Light and Love

 

"Song of my life" continues about eternity Omnipresent Divine in verses.

 

CHAPTER XVI

 

Sweet Sounds of Glory awake me, o awake me, bring me forever more the

Clear Waters of Your Fountain Quench the eager thirst of this soul and

bring her the secrets

of Your Vastness, of Your Limitlessness, of the Brilliant Sparkles

of Infinity interspersed throughout our finite world O Lord I wish to

be Your ever-listening servant

 

"Come and sit with Me I shall tell you more," He quickly responds,

"The discerning eye discovers with ease My Abundance scattered throughout

the world of manifestations for My Dance embraces all I have banished

distance therefore My Nature is present everywhere Look carefully and

you will clearly perceive Me in the role of the mother My

all-encompassing Compassion

expresses itself in the nature of the true mother who tirelessly

watches over her child without any thought of self

she busies herself night and day with the cares and needs of the

helpless youngster born to her Infinite goodness permeates her soul

Cradled by her caring presence

the child grows up with the assurance of Love This mother brings the

child a Haven of Security an Abode of Peace and the Treasure of Trust

These attributes are My attributes alone

It is Me Who plays the mother

You do not have to look far to imagine My Presence Remember those

precious moments of your childhood Savor the unconditional Love

your mother bestowed upon you and recognize Me ...

And now as you embrace your youngsters know that it is My Love that

pours through your caress

 

Simple and thorough is My display as the faithful friend where I exceed

in integrity Free from opinions and judgements

I lend My ever-listening ear absorbing the heaviness of misunderstood

hardships, allowing burdens to become transparent and giving Love the

chance to sprout effortlessly under the Smile of Genuine Friendship The

sweet sparkle in the eyes of your friend tells of My Presence

and the longing you feel to ease your friend's pain is the Energy of My

Being

With great joy have I created My role as the spouse As the husband I

wish to be the caretaker and surround you with the lightness of a care-free

existence, keeping the unbroken promise of life-long companionship,

offering the needed balance in the world of polarities As the wife I

cherish being the caregiver easing the uneasiness of the man's worldly

duties, bringing him solace with well-prepared meals and soothing his

being with the softness of understanding

These qualities of the spouse open the Portals to Love Divine for one

another Though wearing the garment of earthly marriage in reality the

make-up of this union, with its exalted roles, is a direct emanation of

the Supreme Godhead Dwell upon the Divine Law expressed in the concern

and care your husband displays and know that you are seeing Me Delight

in excelling in the elevating characteristics of the loving wife and

know that you are manifesting Me The earth-limited union now offers the

exhilaration of the Awareness of Eternity, the Consciousness of Love

Absolute

 

It is in Me where you have found the Safety of Protection

My guiding Hand

has offered you the Security of Trust My Omnipresent Love has opened

the Door to My Mansion Divine The Sweetness of My Presence has softened

your trials My prompt and detailed Care has allowed you to become

care-free and enabled you to expand your sensitivity beyond your senses

and with confidence

you seek My Presence and gaze upon Me ...

 

It is a beauteous state of loving worship which I treasure deeply,

but eager to lead you ever onward I simply must point out to you that

even though you discover Me more and more in the Immaterial Ways Never

forget My Manifestation in the world No greater or lesser is My

Presence in the Absolute than It is in the Relative Existence

Do not skip this seemingly meaningless Landscape, for Here too you can

behold Me Do not discard the Impermanent Do not reject the Temporary

for through it I scatter the Gems of the Treasure of Infinity It is in

the depth of this understanding

where the embrace of Time and Eternity intertwine and the Blissful

Ecstasy of Love Divine emerges"

Excerpts from Swami's Works in addition to the verses for contemplation

 

Jeannette's verses are deathless as, "Acts which are expressions of Dharma

are deathless and only those who know that they are deathless can perform them.

That is the highest destiny of man. Instead of reaching it, he is intent on

doing acts against Dharma. Man is everywhere degrading himself from his status

as a child of eternity to the status of a child of Futility, from an

Amrithaputhra to an Anrithaputhra! Holding nectar in the grasp, he is drinking

the poison of sensual pleasure. Neglecting the joy of the contemplation of the

fundamental Atmic reality of the Universe, he is entangling himself in the

external trappings of this objective world or appearances. One can only bewail

that this fate has overwhelmed man!" (Sathya Sai Baba. Dharma Vahini. III, p.

12). Her verses teaches a human being to overcome the level of 'a child of

Futility' and reach to the status of 'a child of eternity'.

"It is the Law of Karma that rules the motions of the stars, the planets,

the galaxies and other heavenly bodies in space. The same law directs and

controls all that happens in all the worlds. It is inscrutable in its very

essence. No one can penetrate into the time or space when Karma was not. What,

why, when and how events do happen is beyond the capacity of man to predict

with accuracy. They are laid down from eternity to eternity." (Sathya Sai Baba.

Sathya Sai Vahini. Activity and Action, p. 93).

"In fact Brahman can be indicated as any entity. In accordance with these

expressions of intuitional experience, each and every thing can symbolise and

denote Brahman. All things have emanated from Brahman, all things are

projections of Brahman. No one should be misled by the multiplicity of name and

form in the objective world, the variety of sights and sounds. When the truth

behind the diverse is identified, one is aware of Brahman as the Prime Cause,

the Basis, the Goal." (Excerpts from, Sathya Sai Baba. Sutra Vahini, p. 50). By

Jeannette's verses it is expressed as,

".... the embrace of Time and Eternity intertwine and the Blissful

Ecstasy of Love Divine emerges."

An important note

The indicated source of book is an original. But I have a copy (written by

hand) of this book what is not edited as original. The issue would be the same

or nearly the same. Thanks to sister Anita Shankar the changes are discovered.

It seems that there are many versions of the same book in different corners of

the world. It shows "Song of my life" is caused the worldwide reflection of

Divine Love in millions hearts who imprinted Swami's Cosmic Form as the source

Divine energy and inspiration in their hearts.

I shall continue to send this version with indication to the original

source what is indicated in my copy. Let's Swami's Glory blossom in all hearts

of Sai followers through the wonderful verses dedicated to Swami.
