Could someone answer a question for me?

Sai Ram to all my wonderful Sai brothers and sisters

I hope that everything is well with everyone .... my prayers go out to ALL that

need them ... .especially to those who are facing dire times .... i.e. illness, family

troubles, hurricanes, ect.

May our Lord Sai bless all here and everyone in the world ... may we all find

peace and serve each other as Sai wishes us too.

My question : In 2005 is Navarathri going to be celebrated in Puttaparthi on

March 8th?? and secondly .... after Navarathri is over .... about when? ( as I know

our lord is unpredictable ) about When? does our Lord go to Whitefield?

Also ... is there ANY seva programs of swami's to feed the poor that I can

somehow help out with long distance in some way? I am working on seva in my

local area's

but I would like to do more .... especially for the poor and starving around the world

or the orphaned children ......

If anyone can shed some light on this ... I would deeply appreciate your assistance.

The Vasanta Navaraatri is around the time you are talking about.

This time in 2005, Ugadi will be April 9th and Sri Rama Navami will

be April 18th. Swami can chose where ever he wants to celebrate. He

might go to Brindavam due to the extreme heat in Puttaparti by end

of March. Hi sSankalpa!!

The other Navaraatri is DAsara tiem and will be from the 3rd

October possibly and end by the 12th of October.

Swami has been showing Royal PAth to service. There ar eamny

Horpitals of SWami that are in full swing. I always wondered if, all

the Sai Devotees sponsored 1-2 patients for cardiac surgery, there

will be no deficiency for medical seva at Swami's SSSIHMS at both

facilities. Why do w eneed to duplicate Bhagawan's service anywhere

in India when he opened the Royal Road?

Please forgive me for my suggestion; I am responding to your

request that is filled with eagerness to serve. My response is to

conside serving at the Lotus Feet directly by sending check to

Swami' sMedical trust or general utilities.

Beloved Sai sister Melody,

praying Bhagwan to Shower His Choicest Blessings on you and your Family.

First point-Navarathri- the auspicious Nine days will be during October

and not during March

Second- Its been Bhagawan Baba's schedule to be in Whitefield during

Indian Summer April-June.

As all of us are aware only Bhagawan knows His plans and Programs.As

i understand, being 80th Birth day celebrations, Special Programs have

been planned at Prashanthi Nilayam every month from Jan to Dec 05.As

such we do not know if Bhagwan would move to Whitefield during

Summer 2005.

Regarding your desire to help the needy and doing Narayanseva, it be

desirable if you contact the Central Trust at Prashanthi Nilayam.

Dear Melody , Sai Ram to you.

Are u talking of 2004 Navarathri or 2005 Sivarathri ?? I guess it

is 2005 Sivarathri. As things stand Swami will be in Parthi during

the Sivarathri celebrations. Well, regarding his trip to Brindavan u

never know - Sai's second name is uncertainity( a true quality of

God).

Well, this year Swami is taking up the Grama Seva programme during

the Dussera festival which falls on the october 21st. In this

programme the students go into the villages of the anantapur

district and distribute food and clothes. If u are interested to

pitch in u could do so by sending in ur contribution to the Sri

Sathya Sai Central Trust , Prasanthi NIlayam by cheque with a cover

note that it is for the Grama Seva programme . Swami's Deeno dharana

programme ( Children who are deprived of parents) can also be sent

contributions in the same manner. Swami recently had mentioned to

our group that there are no orphans in this world as heis the

father and mother to every child in this universe. He in fact pulled

us up for using the word Anadha ( telugu) which means orphan. He

said As long as this Nadha ( Swami - LORd ) is there - there is no

anadha in this world.

There is also another trust constituted by Bhagawan " Sri Sathya

Sai Grama Seva Trust" which looks into sustained development

programme for the rural village folks in terms of health, hygiene,

infrastructure, education etc. However, the activities of this trust

are presently restricted to Andhra Pradesh only. If u intend to

support to this trust , you could reply back to this mail for more

details of acitivties.
