Hundreds of devotees of Sai Baba flocked Prasanthi Nilayam, to take part in the three-day festivities.The festivities, footed in traditional fervour and gaiety of the season, had transformed Prasanthi Nilayam into a slice of Kerala.On Saturday morning, several devotees attended the Benedictory address by Sai Baba. Transport Minister R. Balakrishna Pillai and Sathya Sai Baba Seva Sangh State president E. Mukundan also addressed the gathering. Devotional songs by playback singer M.G. Sreekumar, Kavalam Narayana Panicker and Niveditha on Thursday night marked the beginning of the celebrations at Sai Baba’s seat.On Friday, hundreds of Malayalees flocked to Prasanthi Nilayam to take part in the celebrations. Drama by ‘Balavikas’ from Kochi and devotional songs by Unni Menon, Pradeep Somasundaram and T.S. Radhakrishnan were staged in the presence of Baba.On Thiruvonam day, Sai Baba gave darshan to devotees. Balavikas activists from Thiruvananthapuram staged a play, ‘Kerala Sai Samrajyam’.Cultural programmes by students of Srishaylam Sai Vidhyapeeth, Koyilandi and Balavikas, Malappuram were other highlights of the day.Tired of spam?
