Today morning Bhagawan came out at 6:50AM in a procession, as it was

the Onam day. The entire Sai Kulwant hall was decorated with coconut

palm leaves with colors everywhere. On both the sides of the dias

there were beautiful shining netti pattam of elephants! The

procession was led by three pundits with Poorna Kumbham followed by

little children of Vaikom, chanting Vedas. It was followed by

Talapoli consisting of little girls holding lighted lamps on both

sides. Behind this was the Kavadi Attam group. Then Swami came in

His car and got down majestically in the center of the hall. Then He

moved on to the dias. When He was seated, the Nadaswaram and the

Pancha Vadyam played their best along with the Vedic chanting. Then

Bhagawan asked to start the program. There was a welcome song

followed by songs by three devotees. Then the cultural program

started. The theme was the following - two people from Andhra happen

to meet Mahabali in Andhra. When questioned, Bali replies that he

wants to go to Parthy along with his subjects as Vamana has

incarnated in Parthy. In this program, various cultural and

traditional dances of Kerala were exhibited. Then Swami asked the

Kerala state President to speak. All of a sudden Swami had to go

inside and the speech continued. It was followed by a speech by the

Transport Minister Balakrishna Pillai who spoke in Malayalam. Then

Bhajan started and Swami returned and gave a discourse for an hour.

He insisted that we should not get perturbed by small small things

in life but we should have the courage to face it, so that obstacle

may move away from us. Taking Himself as an example, He said that

when He had bleeding in His nose, He went inside, wiped it and came

out against doctor's advice. But Swami was there to demonstrate that

even one hour of standing and speaking had done nothing to Him.

Finally at 9:40AM there was Arathy and Swami returned to Poorna

Chandra by 10:05AM.

 

In the afternoon, Swami came out by 3:00PM. He listened to the Veda

chanting by boys for half hour. Then there was a drama by children

from Swami's school in Srisailam. The drama was on Sankara's Pitru

Bhakthi. It was followed by a dance drama on Bhakta Ambarisha by

children of Malappuram District. Then there was Abhang recitation

(the energetic Pandari Bhajans) and by 4:40PM Swami took Arathy.

Afterwards, Prasadam was distributed to all.
