Guest guest
We call Swami as Hridaya Nivasi (the indweller of heart). Swami also accepts that He is in our Hearts. But are we all really taking the effort to have SWAMI in our heart. Take for example, a public figure coming up to attend a function at our area. What all we do before his arrival? We clean up the place, paint the necessary, even sometimes the unnecessary places. Keep the roads neatly swept. Adore the entire place with decorations in origami, ekabana, etc. For all these time consuming excercises that we do, the man in going to be there not more than one hour. But still we do all the efforts so that the personality who is going to come appreciates and feel happy and important. But for God, whom we claim the indweller of our heart, do we take the same amount of efforts. Should not we need to take more care and efforts for who is the permanent indweller in our hearts. We first need to ensure that we sweep our heart by removing of the unwanted thoughts and ill / negative feelings (eg., kama, krodha, madha, lobha etc.,). Then wash the same with our tears of rependence. Illuminate the same with Love. Decorate the heart with flowers such as compassion, sathya, etc. Then, there is no need for us to invite God for He Himself will enter into our heart and will be a permanent indweller. Only then the real meaning for Hrudaya (the sanskrit word for heart) will get complete. Hrudaya means the place where compassion gets generated. Hru - the place, Daya - Compassion. If we are not going to fill our heart with God then it is not right to say that we have Hrudaya. At HIS Lotus Feet Bharadhwaaj Ramaswamy (If you have already received this message pl. ignore) Tired of spam?
