Group Prayers

Sai Ram to dear brothers and sisters,

After reading the article "Power of Prayer"

yesterday, idea of Group Prayers raised in my mind.

Selfless Prayers (for others) are very effective.

Yesterday's article confirms that Swamy listens to all

our prayers and responds. Mother will feed her child

when it cries out of hunger.

 

We can fix a time suitable to a group of people based

on the regions and pray or chant sai nam (Om sri sai

ramaya namah) for couple of minutes (10 -15 min).

 

We can start our group prayers for cure of Swamy. As

all of you know, Swamy is not able to walk freely

these days. He must have taken somebody's illness.

Some people say that we should not at all consider

this. But it is painful to see Swamy like that. If He

wills He can cure His body in a sec. Let us all pray

to Swamy to cure Himself.

 

Next we can pray for Bindu, Varsha or World peace,

Earth axis what not.

 

This is just my idea, please let me know your ideas

and whether this idea is feasible at all.

 

Note: This life is like a dream. Some dreams are full

of miseries, problems. But once we get up from the

dream, we feel so relaxed reliazing that it was just a

dream. This life is also like that. When u realize

that this is not real, Atma is never effected, there

won't be any sorrows or miseries. Just do your duty

and submit your karmas to Swamy at the end of the Day.

Sairam Dear Rajani,

It is a very good thought of having Bhajans together in every

region. Where do you stay?

We can make groups of people for the different Sai Devotees of

different regions.

 

With this we can know the different devotees and we can chant name

of Sai as wel as.

We can only Pray to Swami that he cure himself. But this is a

decision which he will himself take because he is the Jagatguru.

Dear Rajani,

 

Your idea appealed to me. In areas where there are a number of Sai

Devotees,

group prayers could be organised. This whole concept inspires us to

pray for

each other, and especially for Swami Who has taken on a major world

catastrophe on himself that would have affected 80 countries. This

is what I

heard. Of course if one cannot form a group then its fine to pray in

the

quiet of ones home as well. Chanting Om Sai Ram as many times as

possible

will help Swami to recover sooner.

Your idea of group prayers is quite appealing to me too, please do

let me know when and how you get it started and do include me in the

same. Its a wonderful thought for beginning our group prayers for

Swami.

Sai Ram Dhiren,

 

Good U have taken out a great point.....its all up to our ease there are no

fixed hard and fast rules that you need to chant any particular prayer.

 

Any prayers that comes from Heart and is Focused for the benefit of Tsunami

victims and reach the needy would be really helpful and worthful is what i hope.

 

We with a group of professional and some management students just done these

group prayers day before yesterday....Process we followed is:

 

We all sat in a circle and initially meditated to focus our brains on a common

objective and Chanted Santhi Mantra (Which is in your mail it self)

 

"LOKAA SAMASTA SUKHINO BHAVANTUU"

 

(It can be "Sai GayatriGayatri Mantra" or any thing else tooo)

 

For 108 times to enargize all the Tsunami victims.

 

One of the organizer have just kept the count and rest of all just closed our

eyes and prayed collectively for a common cause.

 

Hope this has given you some idea.
