Dear Sai Brothers and Sisters,

I am a new member of this group and I am very happy to be part of the Sai

family. My name is Bindu and we live in Caliornia U.S. I am the mother of an

adorable 6 year old autistic boy. My son does not speak nor understand much

and is in a very bad state currently, he is therefore unable to catch up

with his typical peers.He is very eager to play with other neuro typical

children but does not have any friends due to the severity of his problem.

The School District has been very unfair to him and have not given him any

appropriate placement therefore we have been forced to put him into a Non

Public School and fund it ourselves ( the fee is an astronomical sum) and we

are not sure how long we can sustain it. Autism has no cure, and our only

hope is Our Beloved Mother Sai. Only Swami can give our son a new lease of

life.

I would therefore like to urge all Sai Brothers and Sisters to keep my son

Siddharth in your prayers, so that our prayers get an added strength and

energy and my son may be cured and be able to lead a normal life. Swami is

our only Hope, and my son shares a special bond with Swami. He spends a lot

of tome looking at Swami's photos and around hi altar at home.

We also plan on visiting Puttaparthi in December and hope we will be blessed

with Swami's Divine Darshan.

I would like to know upto what age are children (boys) allowed to be in the

ladies Darshan queue? Since my husband might not be able to travel with us,

would I be allowed to keep my son with me for Darshan?

family and giving me an opportunity to share my problem.

I am a mother of an autistic boy too. My son is 13 years old now.

I leave between Virginia and Istanbul Turkey. My son's situation was

quite severe when he was 2 years old. We have traveled to Puttapathi

when he was 3 years old in 1994 for the first time, since then we go

back every year.

 

With Swami's blessings my son has shown a great progress. He is now

going to a public school in Virginia Fairfax County, the school system

is perfect they do all possible to accommodate kids of all different

disorders. We have moved to US 3 years ago. My son is now going to a

regular class and getting special education programs too.

By the years most of the autistic symptoms of my son disappeared.

With each trip to Puttaparthi he has overcome most his disabilities.

He now can perfectly run his own life. He still has some problems on

social issues but in comparison of his first evaluation he may not even

be considered as autistic anymore. Science tells us that there is no

cure for autism, this is totally wrong my son is a leaving proof of it,

today's science is not capable to do it but Mother Sai Can.

 

They were allowing boys to the ladies side till 9 years old. But it is

better to check again since regulations keep changing. In case of any

difficulties you can always talk to head Seva Dal, I had the same

situation few years go when we were there without any man in our group

and my son was 9 years old but he was much taller than his peers so Seva

Dal did not want to allow my son to enter to the ladies side, but after

explaining my situation to they have agreed.

Dearest Bindu ....

 

I too live in the US .. in New Hampshire. And my son is also Autistic. He is now 15 years old.

I know that New Hampshire we have whats called IEP's in the school system which is

an Individualize Education Program for any child that is deemed unable to maintain his

normal schooling for thing or another. I am almost sure that that should be the same in

California ... if so ... then you should not be paying for his schooling on his own .. they

are supposed to provide your son with an Individualized Education Program and then if

they cannot provide that within normal schooling then they are supposed to pay for private

schooling of your child.

 

My son also did not speak nor have eye contact with anyone .. He was very physically defensive.

I have been treating him holistically for many years .. with homeopathic remedies, herbs and

ayurvedic medicine ... also lots and lots of prayers ...

 

His progress has been very slow but every year he has shown improvement with Sai's loving

grace. He has been able to be mainstreamed school for his entire education and does

indeed speak and have great eye contact now. He has improved in ways that all the professionals

told us were impossible. SO PLEASE ... do not give up .. Believe in Sai and do everything that

you can for your son ... He needs to live somewhere where there is little

outside activity .... being

in Nature is excellent healing for these kinds of children .... limiting thier

exposure to large crowds

or city type situations is important because thier all about Sensory issues and being overwhelmed

by them.

 

I would be happy to talk to you about anything you would like pertaining to Autism and I would

be very happy to be of any assistance I can .. .please have faith in Sai .. Pray and continue

to pray daily ...... This is I'm sure a karmic thing between your husband, you, and your son but

over time it can be relieved and even alleviated if Sai wishes it to be.

Sai Ram dear brothers and sisters,

Thank you for your kind words and support. We have tried every form of

treatment (holistic,biomedical, homeopathy)and my son has not responded to

any so far. He gets intensive therapy and again he has not shown much

progress. Swami is our only Hope and we draw all our strength from Him.

As far as the School District is concerned we did have an IEP and had to go

into due process, but the attorney who took our case made the most of the

situation and vanished with the money.

Science has got a limit but Swami has no limit. Have Faith in Swami, He

always listen to our prayers. The whole Mauritius will join Siddharth in

their prayers. Karmic situation is not a problem.

We surrender to Sai Who neutralizes karma.

Do not doubt, this is very important. In Puttapurthi,

Swami will take care of everything.

I am the father of a lovely boy, Yogeesh aged 9. He suffers

from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Two years back, with the whole family,

I spent the month of August in Prashanti and Yog aged 7 at that time was

in wheel chair. He stayed with his mother on the ladies side and the seva

dal help Asha, my wife, a lot. We had a very nice time there. Today,

Yogeesh is unable to move his whole body ,according to doctors, there is

no solution - Yog's life duration is very short but this is not a problem

knowing that Swami is by his side. Sometimes, our problem is a blessing

in disguise and this brings us nearer to Swami. Every problem has a solution.

Same as Siddharth, Yogeesh is in a private school and

financially, it is not easy for us and again we see that Swami is doing

the necessary.

Dearest sister Bindu, all I want to tell you is that there

is nothing to worry. You have been chosen by God to assist Siddharth -

BE HAPPY.

Surrender and have faith.

I can visualise the depth of your agonies and concern for the little being.

Swami is always with us. He has never left us any time alone. So just keep

doing namasmarana as suggested by many others on this forum. I am a living

testimony for myself when it comes to the results of namasmarana.

 

I have undergone some most strenous ways of life in the last 6 months, and

things have begun to change for the good. It was only continuos namasmarana

that can wash away our karmas, and realise that we are close to him, once we

realise that we are close to him, we can never fear anything in this world due

to the faith in HIM. So swami is always close to us, it is upto us how we feel

closer to him.

 

NAMASMARANA IS THE BEST METHOD TO PRACTICE SADHANA.

These are few of the powerful mantras. If you are good at singing Hanuman

chalisa, please try to do that 108 times every tuesday. Swami says, just have

firm faith in god, then we can never forget him. So chanting all these will

keep our human mind aware of god. Once we are aware of GOD, we can never wrong

anything becoz we know HE is always watching us.

 

And as all the members have assured you that SIDDHART will always be a part of

our prayers,be assured of that.

Sai Ram to you and your adorable little son!! I was deeply moved by your

mail, but dont worry I am sure Swami will work things out for you in his own

way. I am glad to know that you are visiting Puttaparthi, and yes, if you

are alone and without your husband your son can be allowed to be with you.

Of course you will have to explain things to the Seva Dal and Security

staff on duty as normally 6 year old boys are not allowed in the ladies

queue. I will definitely pray for your lovable son, and I am sure your trip

to Puttaparthi will be a memorable one. Swami works in his own miraculous

ways.

Sai Ram dear Soodesh,

 

You touch me with your faith and surrender to Swami. We all carry tremendous

Karmic burdens, but Swami hold us close. You have probably read this but I

will add it for those who have not read it. I read it as a reminder to myself

every day and when I am in pain it gives me great solace. Bindu all these

message you are getting are from Swami, never doubt that. We cannot even take

his sacred name unless he wills it. One day he said to me in a dream," every

stitch in the fabric of your life is under my direction."

 

Here is what Swami said to his students (we are all his students) one day:

 

Love...Jyotsna

 

Why get agitated? Let Me take care of all your business. I shall be the one who

will think about them.

I am waiting for nothing else than your surrender to Me, and then you do not

have to worry any more about anything.

Say farewell to all fears and discouragement. You demonstrate that you do not

trust Me. On the contrary, you must rely blindly on Me.

To surrender means: To turn your thoughts away from troubles, to turn them away

from difficulties you encounter and from all your problems.

Leave everything into My hands saying "Lord, Thy will be done.

Thou think of it." That is to say: "Lord I thank you for you have taken

everything in your hands, and you will resolve this for my highest good."

Remember that thinking of the consequences of a thing is contrary to surrender.

That is to say, when you worry that a situation has not had the desired outcome,

you thus demonstrate that you do not believe in My love for you.

You will prove that you do not consider your life to be under My control and

that nothing escapes Me.

Never think: How is this to end?....What is going to happen? If you give into

this temptation, you demonstrate that you do not trust Me.

Do you want Me to deal with it...yes or no? Then you must stop being anxious about it!

I shall guide you only if you completely surrender to Me and when I must lead

you into a different path than the one that you expect, I carry you in My arms.

What seriously upsets you is your reasoning, your worrying, your obsession, your

will to provide for yourselves at any price.

I can do so many things when the being, as much in his material necessities as

in his spritual ones, turns to Me saying:

"You think of it." then he closes his eyes and rests quietly. You will receive a

lot but only when your prayer will rely fully upon Me.

You pray to Me when in pain so that I intervene, but in the way you desire it.

You do not rely on Me, but you want Me to adjust your requests.

Don't behave like sick ones who ask a treatment to the doctor, all the time suggesting it to him.

Do not do that; but rather, even in sad circumstances, say: "Lord I praise and

thank You for this problem, for this necessity.

I pray You to arrange things as You please for this terrestrial and temporal

life. You know very well what is best for me."

Sometimes you feel that disasters increase instead of diminish. Do not get agitated.

Close your eyes and tell me with faith: "Thy will be done. You think of it." And

when you speak thus, I accomplish a miracle when necessary.

I only think of it when you trust me totally. I always think of you, but I can

only help you completely when you rely fully on Me.
