News for July 29, 2004

 

Today morning, Bhagawan came out for Darshan around 7:30 AM. He took

a full round along the Darshan line. Mr. Shivaraj Patil, Home

Minister of India, had come to have Swami's Darshan. But Swami came

and sat down in front of the boys who were chanting Vedam. He sat

down for about 15 minutes or so. Then He asked the Vedam boys to go

and He himself called the minister and went inside.

 

In the evening, Bhagawan came around 4:15 PM. There was a Violin

recital by the boys who received Violins from Swami yesterday. The

program was superb. Swami Himself sent word that they should

play "Entaro Mahanu Bhavulu" (a famous composition by Saint

Thyagaraja). It was followed by vocal recital by the Music College

boys. The program got over by 5:15 PM. Swami took Arathy and left.

News for July 30, 2004

 

This morning Bhagawan came by 7:30 AM. He took a full round, after

which He sat listening to Vedam for 15 minutes.Then He asked the

boys to stop the chanting and asked them, "What is the program in

the evening?".

 

In the evening, Swami came out at 3:10 PM itself. He drove straight

to the stage, got down in front of Ganapathy, climbed the steps and

sat on the throne. All the boys came in by 3:30 PM. Vedam chanting

went on till 4:20 PM.Then there were three speeches followed by a

couple of Bhajans. By 5:10 PM Swami took Arathy. There was an

announcement that there will be programs by women's wing of the

Indian cultural meet starting from tomorrow morning.
