Today morning Bhagawan came out at 7:10 AM itself. He took a full

round on the gents side, then He passed in front of the Vedam boys.

While passing the Vedam boys Swami also started chanting the Vedas.

He came to the dias from the ladies side. He got down from the car,

came towards the Vedam boys and standing there He listened to the

chanting for 10 minutes. At 7:30 AM He asked them to stop and asked

them, "What time is the office (as most of them are working) is it 8

o clock?". "Yes, Swami", they replied. Then the Lord moved slowly to

upper veranda and went towards interview room.

 

In the afternoon Bhagawan came by 3:15 PM. He drove from ladies side

in the anti clockwise direction. While every one thought He was

going to come to the stage directly, He suddenly took a turn near

the primary school side, drove in front of the Vedam boys, and then

He came on to the stage from the gents side. While going, He blessed

the boys who were holding the model of the new hostel building made

by them as it was the anniversary of the Junior College hostel. Then

He came and sat down, looked at the Vedam boys and He commanded them

to chant Sama Vedam. They chanted a small part followed by Ghanam,

which Swami seemed to be enjoying. Then He asked the Vedam boys to

stop. He asked the UK group to start their program. They sang some

beautiful songs. At the end of this, there were speeches by two

young boys. Bhagawan created a chain for one of them! After the

their talk, Swami asked to continue Bhajan. Swami took Arathy around

5:30 PM.

News for July 24, 2004

 

Today Bhagawan came at 7:30 AM. After His usual Darshan route from

ladies side and then gents side, He drove straight to upper veranda

from the eastern side of the Mandir itself.Then He called some

devotees for interview and went inside at 7:30 AM.

 

In the evening, He came by 3:15 PM. He followed the same route as in

morning and went inside the interview room. After 15 minutes, He

called someone else for a brief interview, came out and sat on His

chair. He asked for the talks to begin. There was a speech by a

London boy followed by Mr. Ajith Poppat. Then their program started

with music (songs and instrmental ). Then one of the chief surgeons

from their group spoke. In fact for the last 5 days they were also

conducting eye, dental and general health camps! They did Narayana

Seva for 15000 people, did surgeries on 3,778 patients and gave free

glasses for thousands of people. They used to work late at night and

by 4:00 AM all of them used to assemble in a shed to have their

Aumkar and Suprabhatam with mike system. 270 devotees have come from

UK, most of them youths. Their discipline and sense of dedication

pleased Swami very much. Around 5:15 PM, Swami got up, stood and

personally handed over silk sarees to all the ladies and safari suit

cloth for all the gents. Though it was too strenuous for Swami He did

not mind. Then Swami asked the boys from institute to sing group

songs. He also created three rings for London youths. As they are

leaving tomorrow, Swami will call and talk to them in the prayer

hall tomorrow. At 5:50 PM, Swami went back, after a hectic day.
