Below is a News Report of Narendra Modi's Visit to Prasanthi Nilayam on 12.07.04 that appeared in Deccan Chronicle Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday cautioned the UPA government against scrapping Pota. He said such a move would have serious repercussions on the country's internal security besides affecting the morale of the armed forces. He was addressing a meeting organised by the BJP city unit at Myadam Anjaiah Hall in Kacheguda on Tuesday as part of BJP's nation-wide Sansad se Sadak tak programme to protest against the induction of leaders with a criminal record in the Cabinet as well as removal of Governors. Modi stressed upon the need for proper utilisation of Godavariwaters emphasising that his government had laid a pipeline for Narmada waters.
