News for July 13, 2004

 

This morning Bhagawan came out at 7:40 AM itself. He took one full

round in the gents side. Afterwards, He called a boy's family for

interview. At 8:00 AM, He went inside. In the evening He came out at

3:50 PM. This time He got down near the stage, slowly came and sat

on His chair. The boys had prepared a skit entitled TAT TWAM ASI. At

4:00 PM, Swami gave them signal to start the play. The play was

based on the Aruni-Uddhalaka story and quoted heavily from

scriptures. It was done very well and lasted about 45 minutes. Then

Swami asked Bhajan to be sung and took Arathy at 5:10 PM.

News for July 12, 2004

 

Today Bhagawan came out for morning Darshan at 7:40 AM. He went

around the men's side, drove in front of the Vedam boys and came on

to the veranda from the ladies side. Then He came to the stage in

the golf car itself. He created Vibhoothi for one of the professors,

talked to Prof. Anilkumar, sat and listened to the Veda chantings

for a few minutes. Then He asked His car to be taken near the

interview room. He called a few guests for interview. By 8:00 AM He

had gone inside.

 

In the afternoon, Bhagawan came out at 3:00 PM. Once again, He went

around the men's side. Then He drove in front of the Vedam boys and

went to the upper veranda, got down in front of the interview room.

Mr. Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat was waiting for

Bhagawan. Swami called him for an interview. Around 4:00 PM, Swami

came and sat down outside. Swami asked one of the boy to speak. He

spoke on Faith. This was followed by a talk by Prof. Anil Kumar. At

4:50 PM Swami took Arathy and went back. There was heavy downpour

within five minutes of Swami leaving.
