News for July 10, 2004

 

Today morning Bhagawan came out for Darshan at 7:50 PM. He went

around the men's side, went straight and got down from His car near

the interview room. He did not call anyone for interview, but He was

in His room. In the evening Swami came out at 3:20 PM. This time, He

took a turn near the men's side, went to the upper portico and from

there He drove straight to the outside gates. Some of the boys also

followed Him to control the running devotees. Swami took a full

round through the North Indian canteen and the North buildings,

drove in front of the Gayathri temple and returned to Kulwant Hall

from the auditorium side. Then He came and sat in the chair

listening to the Veda chantings. Around 4:00 PM He asked two boys to

speak. Their talk was followed by one from Dr. Narendranath Reddy.

At 4:55 PM Bhajans started and Swami took Arathy by 5:10 PM.

News for July 9, 2004

 

This morning Bhagawan came out for Darshan at 7:50 AM. He cut across

the ladies side and got down near the interview room. He called some

people for interview. The Veda chantings lasted only 10 minutes. In

the evening, Bhagawan came out at 3:20 PM, went around the men's

side and got down from His car on the veranda. He came slowly and

sat down. He asked the four music college boys to come and sit in

the front. As two of them had not yet come from the Hostel Swami was

waiting for them. In the meanwhile he called some guests for

interview. Swami got up and went inside the interview room and came

back by 4:00 PM. At this time, He asked Vedam boys to stop and the

music boys to begin. The moment they started Omkar Swami stopped

them and asked them to come and sit on the stage. They entertained

the devotees with lot of classical Carnatic music till 5:05 PM. Some

of the songs sung were "Enna Tavam Chaitane Yashoda", "Entaro Mahanu

Bhavulu", etc. Then Swami took Arathy went back.

News for July 8, 2004

 

Today Swami came out for Darshan at 8:15 AM. This time He took a

full round even in the gents side. He got down near the interview

room and went inside, after calling some devotees from veranda for

interview. In the evening, He came out around 3:20 PM. He went

around the hall (including the gents side). Later He went inside the

interview room after calling some ladies for interview. After that

He was kind enough to come and sit outside. At 4:10 PM He asked the

Music college boys to give a concert. This time it was instrumental

music. They did a good job. After four songs Swami took Arathy by

5:10 PM.
