Re: [saibabanews] How to go to Puttaparthi from Mumbai

SAI RAM,

The easiest way to go to Puttaparthi is to

take any train going to Chennai from Mumbai, get down

at Guntakal & take a suitable train going to

Dharmavaram or better direct to Prasanthi Nilayam Rly

stn. If U have to get down at Dharmavaram, then take a

bus to Puttaparthi from Dharmavaram. In case U chance

to get Yeswanthpur Exp or some such train cmg from

Hyb, U can get down at Prasanthi Nilayam & take a bus

or auto riksha to reach Prasanthi Nilayam hardly abt 5

to 6 kms from Rly stn. All the best & may Baba guide

U. Jai Sairam,

In order to go puttaparthi you need to travel to Bangalore first you

can either travel thru train or plane. Once you reach to bangalore

you can catch bus which will leave you directly to puttaparthi.

Althou i myself have never been to puttaparthi but i anxiously

waiting for swami's call but i heard from many ppl this is the

procedure to reach puttaparthi. You can find more details on swami's

websites. I really hope this info can help you. sairam

SAIRAM:

>From Mumbai, take the Udyan Express which goes to Bangalore; it

leaves CST in the morning at about 7.15 am; it goes directly to the

Prashanthi Nilayam Station [i.ePuttaparthi]; it reaches the

Prasanthi Nilayam the next day early morning at about 4.45 am; you

may go directly to Prashanti Nilayam, keep your luggage in the

luggage counter, clean your hands, mouth and go and stand in the

queue for the morning darshan; After taking His darshan the same

morning you may take an accommodation according your to your

intended period of stay. The same Udyan Express from Bangalore

comes through Puttaparthi to Mumbai. It comes and leaves

Puttaparthi at about 11 in the night. It is a very very convenient

train which has been arranged by the Railways.
