A report from a Sai Sister. Construction full speed ahead! Here in Parthi Swami is giving Darshan as usual. The construction here is going on full speed. The construction takes up about 3/4 of the gated-in area all around the Sarva Dharma Stupa. Now there are a number of pits dug for the foundation of the buildings, a line of three pits from the Stupa to the road, on either side of the Stupa. At present there are three or four rows of three pits each. The cemented wall around the entire area has been taken out on both sides, to allow trucks and machinery to come into the area. The area just around the Stupa (where the moat with water was) has also been mostly destroyed. In fact, the pits also run into that area and even a foot or two onto the road, too. A high wall of tin is being put up along the road separating the construction and the Poornachandra - perhaps to keep the dust and noise somewhat out of the area where Swami is living. http://www.kingdomofsai.org/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=109 Copyright Kingdom of Sai © 2004 Om Sri Sai Ram
