Events at Prashanthi Nilayam - 11 JUN 2004

 

Swami came in the morning at 7:30 a.m. and after making a full round

through the gents side, got down near the entrance to the Bhajan

hall and came to the lobby and sat on the sofa. He asked the Veda

Chanting group to get back to their work at 7:45 a.m., and got into

the Golf Cart and left through the front of the mandir. After going

around the Poornachandra Hall, He came again to the Sai Kulwant hall

and asked Sri C.Srinivas of Bangalore Hospital to get into the cart

and left in the direction of Poornachandra Hall. He made a tour of

the ashram on the golf cart driving through the North Blocks,

Gayathri Temple and turned near Shanthi Bhavan and went Back to

Poornachandra Hall. Excellent Darshan for many many devotees! He

came back to Bhajan Hall for the Bhajans which were held from 9:00

a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and returned to Poornachandra hall.

 

Afternoon

 

Swami came at 4:15 p.m. and after going round the devotees, came to

the lobby and sat on the sofa. He then asked Sri Sudhindran of

Central Trust (ex-student), to explain the meanings of some of the

vedic chants. He was accompanied by Dr. Anil Kumar (not the Prof

Anil Kumar!) who recited a few stanzas of Rudram and Sri Sudhindran

translated them. He then recited Narayanopanishad and sri Sudhindran

translated it. Swami got up and went to His room at around 4:50 p.m.

Bhajans started at 5:00 p.m. and Mangala Aarathi was performed at

5:30 p.m. and Swami returned to His abode.

Events at Prashanthi Nilayam - 12 JUN 2004

 

On 12th morning, there was the Bhoomi Pooja in front of

Poornachandra Hall (Northern side of the Stupa) where a new

residence of Swami is to come up. Two new buildings are to come up.

One a new residence for Swami and the other one for the Central

Trust. Smt and Sri Ramakrishna of ECC(L&T) along with a selected few

took part in the Bhoomi Pooja. Swami went to the Pooja site and

witnessed and blessed the pooja which went on from 7:30 a.m. to 7:50

a.m. Swami then came to Sai Kulwant Hall after the pooja at 7:50

a.m. and went straight to His room after getting down near the

entrance. Bhajans were held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

 

Afternoon

 

In the afternoon, Swami came for darshan at 2:45p.m! He then drove

from sai Kulwant Hall through the front gate and went round the

Ashram covering Shanthi Bhavan, North Indian Canteen, North Blocks,

Gayatri Temple, Shanthi Bhavan, W1 block and back into the darshan

hall. He drove near the interview room and went inside His room.

Bhajans were held from 4:50 p.m. to 5:20 p.m. and Swami left Sai

Kulwant hall after the Mangala Aarathi.

Events at Prashanthi Nilayam - 13 JUN 2004

 

Swami came at 7:50 a.m. He came to the lobby and after listening to

the Veda Chants till 8:10 a.m., went to His room. Bhajans were held

from 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and swami returned to His room at 9:45

a.m.

 

Afternoon

 

Swami came for darshan at 3:50 p.m. Swami asked the Music College

Students to sing. They sang until 4:50 p.m. Bhajans were held from

4:50 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Aarathi was performed and Swami retired to

His abode.
